6 Basketball Players who Played for Grizzlies and Wizards

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Grizzlies and the Wizards.
Gilbert Arenas
Gilbert Arenas, also known as “Agent Zero”, was known for his scoring prowess and his ability to take and make big shots. Arenas’ career started in 2001 when he was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors.
Despite his low draft position, Arenas quickly established himself as a standout player and won the NBA’s Most Improved Player award in his second season.
Following his stint with the Warriors, Arenas signed with the Washington Wizards in 2003. This is where his career took off as he developed into one of the top guards in the league. From 2004-2007, Arenas was selected to three consecutive NBA All-Star games and earned All-NBA honors.

Mike Miller
Mike Miller was a player known for his shooting ability, particularly beyond the arc. He was selected as the 5th overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, and his standout performances during his rookie season earned him the NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
In 2003, he joined the Memphis Grizzlies, where he was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year for the 2005-2006 season. Miller’s career then took him to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Washington Wizards, but it was his tenure with the Miami Heat that brought him significant recognition.
Joining the Heat in 2010, Miller played a key role in the team’s back-to-back NBA Championships in 2012 and 2013. He made a significant contribution in Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals, when he made 7 of 8 three-point attempts, helping the Heat secure the championship.
Mike Bibby
Mike Bibby was drafted second overall in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies and he quickly made a name for himself as a rookie, averaging 13.2 points and 6.5 assists per game.
His career took off when he was traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2001. He played a pivotal role in the Kings’ deep playoff runs in the early 2000s, known for his clutch performances. During his seven seasons with the Kings, he averaged 17.6 points and 5.4 assists, becoming one of the premier point guards in the league.
Bibby’s career also included stints with the Hawks, Wizards, Heat, and Knicks. He averaged 14.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over his 14-year NBA career. Known for his quickness, shooting ability, and leadership, Bibby made a lasting impact on the teams he played for.

Ish Smith
Ish Smith was drafted as the 17th pick in the second round of the 2010 NBA Development League Draft by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Though he went undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft, he made his NBA debut later that year with the Houston Rockets.
Primarily known as a journeyman point guard and a valuable role player, Smith’s quickness and ability to distribute the ball have been his standout attributes.
Over his NBA career, Smith has played for an incredible 13 different teams, including the Grizzlies, Warriors, Magic, 76ers, Pistons, Wizards, Hornets and Pistons (and that’s barely over half!).

Jeff Green
Jeff Green has played for numerous teams in the NBA. He was initially drafted 5th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2007 NBA Draft, though he was immediately traded to the Seattle SuperSonics, where he spent the first part of his career.
Green has had a journeyman career, playing for 11 different teams in his 15-year career including the Thunder, Celtics, Grizzlies, Clippers, Magic, Cavaliers, Wizards, Jazz, Rockets, Nets, and Nuggets. He was a solid contributor to the Nuggets Championship this past season.
Green’s versatility and ability to play both inside and outside have allowed him to fit into various roles on different teams. He’s been both a starter and a valuable bench player throughout his career, contributing with his scoring, rebounding, and ability to defend multiple positions.
Garrett Temple
Garrett Temple was undrafted out of LSU in the 2009 NBA Draft but worked his way into the league and has developed and impressive 13-year career as a journeyman.
He has played for multiple NBA teams (11 in total), including the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards, and Brooklyn Nets. His role has primarily been as a defensive specialist and a veteran presence in the locker room.
He’s been a key contributor on many of the teams he’s played on and has even started in almost 300 games in his career.
