I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Jazz and the Cavaliers.
Donovan Mitchell
Since entering the league, Donovan Mitchell has quickly established himself as one of the premier young talents, impressing with his scoring ability, athleticism, and leadership on the court.
Drafted 13th overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2017 NBA Draft, he was promptly traded to the Utah Jazz on draft night. He quickly became the face of the franchise and played a pivotal role in the Jazz’s successes, earning multiple NBA All-Star selections in the process.
In 2022, Mitchell was traded to the Cavaliers where he has continued his All-Star level play, averaging over 28 points per game in his first season in Cleveland.

Carlos Boozer
Carlos Boozer spent 13 seasons in the NBA and was known for his scoring and rebounding ability. Boozer was drafted 35th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers out of Duke University, where he had won an NCAA championship.
After two seasons in Cleveland, he signed with the Utah Jazz. In Utah, alongside point guard Deron Williams, Boozer was a two-time NBA All-Star and a key figure in the team’s success. He was a part of the team that reached the Western Conference Finals in 2007.
After his stint with the Jazz, Boozer signed with the Chicago Bulls where he continued to be a solid contributor. He finished his NBA career with a season at the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014-15. Over his career, Boozer averaged 16.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

Kyle Korver
Kyle Korver was selected by the New Jersey Nets in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft, 51st overall, but was immediately traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. The 6-foot-7 shooting guard and small forward played in the NBA for 17 seasons, with stints at the 76ers, Jazz, Bulls, Hawks, Cavaliers, and Bucks.
Korver was best known for his three-point shooting, consistently ranking among the league’s best in three-point percentage. He led the league in three-point percentage four times during his career and was named an NBA All-Star in 2015 while playing for the Hawks.
In his best season, he averaged 12.1 points per game with a 49.2% shooting percentage from beyond the arc.
Deron Williams
Deron Williams excelled as a point guard during his 13-year career. Williams was selected with the third overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He played for the Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and Cleveland Cavaliers throughout his career.
Williams was best known for his skills as a playmaker, often being one of the league’s leaders in assists. His ability to both score and distribute the ball made him one of the most well-rounded point guards of his era. He was a three-time NBA All-Star and was twice named to the All-NBA Second Team.
His best years were arguably with the Jazz, where he led the team to multiple playoff appearances, including a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2007.

Rodney Hood
Rodney Hood was selected as the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He played with the Jazz for three and a half seasons, showing promise as a scorer.
Hood has played for several NBA teams during his career, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers, Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers. While with the Cavs, he reached the NBA Finals in the 2017-2018 season, although the team lost to the Golden State Warriors.
Known for his shooting ability, especially from beyond the three-point line, Hood has had seasons where he averaged double-digit points per game. His combination of size and skill has allowed him to contribute as a wing player in various systems.
Jae Crowder
Jae Crowder is an NBA player known for his toughness and versatility. He was drafted 34th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2012 NBA Draft, but was immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks where he spent the first part of his career.
Crowder has been something of an NBA journeyman, playing for several teams including the Celtics, Cavaliers, Jazz, Grizzlies, Heat, Suns and Bucks. Despite changing teams frequently, Crowder has consistently been valued for his ‘3-and-D skills’ (three-point shooting and defense), as well as his ability to play both forward positions.
He has played crucial roles in deep playoff runs for several teams, including the Miami Heat in 2020, where he helped the team reach the NBA Finals, and the Phoenix Suns in 2021, also reaching the NBA Finals.
Mo Williams
Mo Williams is probably best known for his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Williams, a 6’1″ point guard, had a 13-year career that spanned from 2003 to 2017.
Williams had a breakout season with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2006-2007, averaging over 17 points per game. He was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008, where he played alongside LeBron James and was named an All-Star in 2009. His high-scoring and playmaking ability made him a key part of the Cavaliers’ success during his tenure.
After bouncing around the league in the later stages of his career, Williams briefly rejoined the Cavaliers in 2015 and was part of the team’s championship roster in 2016, providing veteran leadership and depth off the bench.

Richard Jefferson
Richard Jefferson spent 17 seasons in the NBA. Known for his athleticism and scoring ability, he played for several teams but is probably best remembered for his time with the New Jersey Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers.
He was drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 13th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft and was subsequently traded to the New Jersey Nets. With the Nets, Jefferson reached the NBA Finals in his rookie and sophomore seasons alongside teammates Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin.
In 2016, Jefferson won an NBA Championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played a key supporting role alongside LeBron James, helping the Cavaliers come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.
Jeff Green
Jeff Green has played for numerous teams in the NBA. He was initially drafted 5th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2007 NBA Draft, though he was immediately traded to the Seattle SuperSonics, where he spent the first part of his career.
Green has had a journeyman career, playing for 11 different teams in his 15-year career including the Thunder, Celtics, Grizzlies, Clippers, Magic, Cavaliers, Wizards, Jazz, Rockets, Nets, and Nuggets. He was a solid contributor to the Nuggets Championship this past season.
Green’s versatility and ability to play both inside and outside have allowed him to fit into various roles on different teams. He’s been both a starter and a valuable bench player throughout his career, contributing with his scoring, rebounding, and ability to defend multiple positions.
