I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Pistons and the Nets.
Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin is known for his powerful dunking ability and versatile skill set. He was selected first overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Clippers and quickly made a name for himself, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2010.
In his first season, Griffin was also selected for the NBA All-Star game, becoming the first rookie All-Star since Yao Ming in 2003. He had an outstanding career with the Clippers, earning All-Star honors five times in total.
Griffin was traded to the Detroit Pistons in 2018, where he continued to perform at a high level, earning another All-Star selection in 2019. After Detroit, Griffin has played more of a reserved role with the Nets and Celtics.

Andre Drummond was selected as the 9th overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. Over the course of his career, he has played for several teams including the Pistons, Cavaliers, Lakers, 76ers, Nets and Bulls.
Drummond’s accomplishments include being named to the NBA All-Star team twice, leading the league in rebounding four times, and earning All-NBA Second Team honors in 2016.
His dominating presence in the paint, particularly as a rebounder, has made Drummond one of the most consistent big men in the league. His ability to score around the basket and alter shots defensively has contributed to his teams’ successes over the years.

Jerry Stackhouse
Over his 18-season NBA career, Jerry Stackhouse played for teams including the 76ers, Pistons, and Mavericks. At the University of North Carolina, Stackhouse earned All-American honors and entered the 1995 NBA Draft, where he was selected third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Stackhouse’s best years came with the Detroit Pistons, where he was twice named an NBA All-Star and led the league in total points in the 2000-01 season. His scoring prowess and competitiveness were hallmarks of his playing career.
After retiring from playing, Stackhouse transitioned into coaching. He served as an assistant coach with the Toronto Raptors and was the head coach of the Raptors’ G-League team, Raptors 905, leading them to a championship in 2017.

Bruce Brown
Bruce Brown has shown his value as a versatile guard capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor. After playing two years of college basketball at the University of Miami, he was drafted 42nd overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2018 NBA Draft.
During his time with the Pistons, Brown demonstrated a well-rounded game with solid defense, playmaking ability, and scoring.
After two years with the Nets, Brown played a key role in the Nuggets’ 2022-23 Championship season, averaging 11.5 points per game, most often coming off the bench.
Nerlens Noel
Nerlens Noel was selected as the 6th overall pick by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2013 NBA Draft and was later traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on draft night.
Noel has been primarily known for his defensive abilities, particularly as a shot-blocker.
He led the NBA in block percentage during his rookie season and has consistently ranked among the league leaders in blocks. He has also been an effective rebounder and has contributed on the offensive end as well, but it’s his defensive presence that has been his calling card in the NBA.
Mehmet Okur
Mehmet Okur started his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons in 2002. In his tenure with the Pistons, he played a role in their 2004 NBA Championship run, providing crucial minutes and contributing with his scoring and rebounding. His impressive play in Detroit earned him increased attention across the league.
In 2004, Okur signed with the Utah Jazz, where he became a focal point of the team’s offensive system. With the Jazz, he earned an All-Star selection in 2007. His ability to space the floor as a center was particularly valuable in the pick-and-roll system run by the Jazz, especially with point guard Deron Williams.
After a productive stint with the Jazz, injuries began to affect Okur’s effectiveness, and he concluded his NBA career with a brief stint with the New Jersey Nets in the 2011-2012 season. Despite the challenges at the tail end of his career, Mehmet Okur’s legacy remains as one of the NBA’s pioneering stretch big men.

Mason Plumlee
Mason Plumlee has made a consistent impact in the NBA as a center with a combination of athleticism and basketball IQ.
