And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?
Well, good news, you’re in the right place.
I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Colts and Eagles.
Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz was selected 2nd overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft. Coming from North Dakota State University, he immediately showed promise as a franchise quarterback.
In his second season, 2017, Wentz was on an MVP-caliber pace with 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Despite his absence in the postseason, the Eagles went on to win Super Bowl LII. Wentz earned a Pro Bowl selection that year for his efforts.
He continued to show his skills in subsequent seasons but also faced a series of injuries, affecting his consistency and effectiveness. In the 2020 season, he struggled significantly and was eventually benched, leading to a trade to the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and then to Washington in 2022.

Foles has had a roller-coaster career that’s seen him bounce between starter and backup roles on various teams. His career has been marked by flashes of brilliance including the 2013 season where he posted a NFL record-tying 7 TDs in a game and ended with a league-best passer rating of 119.2.

Trent Cole
Trent Cole was drafted in the fifth round, 146th overall, by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2005 NFL Draft. Cole spent the majority of his career with the Eagles, playing for the team from 2005 to 2014 before joining the Indianapolis Colts for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Cole was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 2007 and 2009 and was named a second-team All-Pro in 2009. Over his career, he accumulated more than 90 sacks, making him one of the more consistent pass-rushers of his era. He ranked second in Eagles history in career sacks with 85.5 at the time of his departure from the team.
His combination of speed, technique, and tenacity made him a disruptive force on the defensive line. Cole was known for his ability to pressure the quarterback and was equally effective against the run. His work ethic and high motor were often highlighted as standout qualities during his career.
