Aaron Glenn

Aaron Glenn played for several teams over a career that spanned 15 seasons. However, Glenn is probably best known for his time with the New York Jets, the team that drafted him in the first round (12th overall) of the 1994 NFL Draft.

During his time with the Jets from 1994 to 2001, Glenn made his mark as a reliable cornerback, earning Pro Bowl honors in 1997 and 1998. His impressive play continued after he was selected by the Houston Texans in the 2002 expansion draft. Glenn received another Pro Bowl selection in 2002 while with the Texans.

Following his stint with the Texans, Glenn had shorter spells with the Cowboys, Jaguars, and Saints before retiring after the 2008 season. Throughout his career, Glenn was respected for his cover skills and ability to intercept passes, finishing his career with 41 interceptions.

Mark Brunell had a lengthy career from 1993 to 2011. After one season as a backup quarterback with the Green Bay Packers, he was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he found success.

Brunell led the Jaguars to the AFC Championship Game twice and was selected for the Pro Bowl three times. He threw for over 32,000 yards, 184 touchdowns, and 108 interceptions during his career.

After his tenure with the Jaguars, Brunell played for the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints (earning a Super Bowl ring as a backup in Super Bowl XLIV), and New York Jets.

Jeff Blake

Jeff Blake had a 14-year career in the league, spending time with multiple teams. Blake was selected in the 6th round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, but he gained most of his recognition as a Pro Bowl quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals.

With the Bengals, Blake had his most productive years. In 1995, he was selected to the Pro Bowl after throwing for 3,822 yards and 28 touchdowns. Blake was known for his deep passing ability, consistently ranking among the league’s best in yards per completion.

Throughout his career, Blake also had stints with the Saints, Ravens, Cardinals, Eagles, and Bears. After retiring from professional football, Blake transitioned into coaching and mentoring young quarterbacks, including his son Emory, a former Auburn University quarterback.

CJ Spiller

C.J. Spiller was drafted 9th overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2010 NFL Draft. A running back out of Clemson, Spiller was known for his explosive speed and agility.

Over his career, he earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2012 (with the Bills), the same year he recorded 1,244 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 6.0 yards per carry. He also demonstrated proficiency as a receiver out of the backfield, tallying 43 receptions for 459 yards.

Spiller played for multiple teams throughout his NFL career, including the Bills, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs. Despite showing flashes of brilliance, injuries and inconsistent play hampered his career.

Chris Hogan

Chris Hogan was undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft but eventually found his way into the league. He’s had a journeyman career, playing for multiple teams including Bills (2012–2015), Patriots (2016–2018), Panthers (2019), Jets (2020), and the Saints (2021).

Some of his biggest career highlights came during his time with the New England Patriots, where he won two Super Bowls, Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LIII.

In Super Bowl LI, Hogan was part of the team that made a historic comeback against the Atlanta Falcons, overcoming a 28-3 deficit. He was particularly effective in the AFC Championship game leading up to Super Bowl LI, where he had 9 catches for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns.
