I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both Houston and Toronto.
Roger Clemens
Roger Clemens is one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball history. His career, spanning 24 seasons from 1984 to 2007, was filled with success, including stints with the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and Houston Astros.
Clemens racked up an impressive 354 wins with a 3.12 ERA, and his 4672 strikeouts place him third on the all-time list. Clemens was a workhorse, logging a career total of 4916.2 innings. Clemens was an 11-time All-Star and won the Cy Young Award seven times, more than any other pitcher in history.
His accolades also include two World Series titles, both with the Yankees, in 1999 and 2000. However, Clemens’ career has been overshadowed by allegations of performance-enhancing drug use, which has thus far kept him out of the Baseball Hall of Fame despite his remarkable statistics and accomplishments.

Teoscar Hernandez
Teoscar Hernández has made his mark in Major League Baseball as an outfielder, primarily with the Toronto Blue Jays. Hernández was originally signed by the Houston Astros as an international free agent in 2011, making his MLB debut with them in 2016. He was then traded to the Blue Jays in 2017.
With the Blue Jays, Hernández has developed into a power hitter. In the shortened 2020 season, he emerged as one of the team’s most potent offensive threats, hitting 16 home runs in just 50 games and earning his first Silver Slugger award.
His strong performance continued in the 2021 season where he hit 32 home runs, posted a .296 batting average and drove in 116 runs – all leading to his first All-Star selection.

Jeff Kent
Jeff Kent was a powerhouse from 1992 to 2008. Like me, most of you probably think of him as a San Francisco Giant, but Kent also played for the Mets, Dodgers, Astros, Indians (now Guardians) and Blue Jays.
A second baseman with serious pop in his bat, Kent earned the MVP title in 2000 with the Giants. He had 33 home runs that year with 125 RBIs.
Over his career, he hit over 370 home runs, racked up more than 1,500 RBIs, and had an impressive 560 doubles. Kent was selected for the All-Star game five times.
Francisco Liriano
Francisco Liriano began his MLB journey with the Minnesota Twins in 2005, quickly making an impression as one of the league’s promising young pitchers. In 2006, his breakout season, he was named an All-Star, and while his year was cut short due to Tommy John surgery, his performance left a lasting impression.
Over the years, Liriano played for various teams, including the White Sox, Pirates, Blue Jays, Astros, and Tigers. One of his career highlights came with the Pirates, where he won the 2013 National League Comeback Player of the Year after an impressive season on the mound.
Throughout his career, Liriano was known for his devastating slider and ability to generate strikeouts. His journey in the MLB was characterized by moments of sheer dominance, resilience in the face of injuries, and adaptability as he transitioned roles, even serving as a relief pitcher later in his career.
