Baseball Players who Played for Cubs and Rockies

There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found 3 players who played for both the Cubs and the Rockies.

Kris Bryant

Kris Bryant is in his 9th season in the majors, currently playing in the outfield for the Colorado Rockies.

Bryant’s career started about as good as anyone in major league history winning Rookie of the Year in 2015 followed by the NL MVP in 2016 – both with the Cubs. Bryant is also a 4x All-Star (Cubs) and his recent stops with the Giants and Rockies will put him at the forefront of many fans’ minds.

Neifi Perez

Neifi Perez, who played from 1996 to 2007, is best remembered for his time as an infielder with the Colorado Rockies.

Throughout his 12-season career, Perez collected over 1300 hits, 64 home runs, and maintained a .267 career batting average.

Perez was awarded the Gold Glove for his defense at shortstop in 2000 with the Rockies. His best season at the plate came in 1999, when he hit .280 and led the majors with 11 triples.

Jamie Moyer

Jamie Moyer was a steady pitcher in baseball for an impressive stretch from 1986 to 2012. He made a name for himself with teams like the Mariners and Phillies, but also had stops with the Cubs, Orioles, Rangers, Rockies, Cardinals and Red Sox.

Over his career, he snagged over 260 wins, proving that you don’t need a blazing fastball to get the job done. Moyer was an All-Star once and was also a big part of the Phillies’ World Series win in 2008.

What’s really cool about him is that he pitched in the majors until he was 49, which is just amazing.
