And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Diamondbacks and Brewers.

Zach Greinke

Zach Greinke has been a dynamite pitcher in baseball since he first hit the mound in 2004. He’s played for a handful of teams, including the Royals, Dodgers, Astros, Diamondbacks, Brewers and Angels. Greinke took home the Cy Young Award in 2009 while with the Royals.

He has accumulated over 200 wins and more than 2,600 strikeouts. He’s made several All-Star appearances and is also known for his batting skills, a rarity among pitchers.

Jeff Cirillo

Jeff Cirillo, who played from 1994 to 2007, is best known for his time as a third baseman with the Milwaukee Brewers. However, Cirillo bounced around with five other teams in his career including the Rockies, Mariners, Diamondbacks, Twins and Padres.

Cirillo was a consistent hitter, compiling over 1,500 hits, 112 home runs, and a .296 career batting average.

His best seasons came in the late 90s, when he was named to the All-Star team in 1997 (Brewers) and 2000 (Rockies). Known for his ability to hit for average and his defensive skills at third base, Cirillo was a valuable asset to his teams.

Richie Sexson

Richie Sexson was a big-hitting first baseman in baseball from 1997 to 2008, playing for the Brewers, Mariners, Diamondbacks, Indians (now Guardians), and Yankees.

Standing at 6’8″, Sexson was an intimidating presence at the plate and cranked over 300 home runs during his career with a single-season best of 45 in both 2001 and 2003 with the Brewers. He was a two-time All-Star and known for hitting some of the longest homers in the game.

Jeff Suppan

Jeff Suppan played for 7 different teams (Royals, Cardinals, Red Sox, Brewers, Diamondbacks, Pirates, Padres) over his 17-year career. Suppan was known for his consistent performance on the mound, amassing over 140 wins in his career.

His most successful stint came with the Cardinals, where he played a crucial role in their 2006 World Series run, earning the NLCS MVP for his stellar performance.

Despite not being a big strikeout pitcher, Suppan was a dependable arm in the rotation, providing valuable innings for his teams over a lengthy career.

Dan Plesac

Dan Plesac had an impressive 18-year career from 1986 to 2003. With stints at the Brewers, Cubs, Pirates, Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, and Phillies, Plesac was a three-time All-Star (Brewers) and one of the top relievers of his era.

He appeared in a total of 1,064 games, the majority as a reliever, ending his career with a 65-71 record, 3.64 ERA, and 158 saves. Plesac had one of his best years in 1989 when he posted a career-best 2.35 ERA with 33 saves for the Brewers.
