I’ve done some research and have found 4 players who played for both the Yankees and the Giants.
Darryl Strawberry
Darryl Strawberry, who played from 1983 to 1999, is most recognized for his time as an outfielder with the New York Mets and the New York Yankees.
Strawberry had a powerful career, notching 1000 RBIs, 335 home runs, and a .259 career batting average. An eight-time All-Star (Mets, Dodgers), he was named the National League’s Rookie of the Year in 1983 (Mets). Strawberry’s best season might have been 1987, when he hit 39 home runs with 104 RBIs and a .284 batting average.
Despite battling personal issues off the field, Strawberry was part of three World Series-winning teams, showcasing his ability to perform at the highest level.
Chili Davis
Chili Davis was a switch-hitting designated hitter and outfielder who carved out a noteworthy Major League Baseball career from 1981 to 1999. Davis spent his career with several teams, including the San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins, and California Angels.
Known for his power at the plate, Davis hit 350 home runs in his career and drove in over 1300 runs, finishing with a .274 lifetime batting average.
He was a three-time All-Star (Giants, Angels) and played a pivotal role in the Twins’ 1991 World Series victory (he also won rings with the Yankees in ’98 & ’99). With his consistent offensive production, Davis was an integral part of every lineup he joined.

Randy Johnson
Randy Johnson, also known as the ‘Big Unit’, was a towering force in baseball from 1988 to 2009. He threw mainly for the Mariners and Diamondbacks but also played for the Montreal Expos, Yankees, Giants and Astros.
Johnson won the World Series with the Diamondbacks in 2001, where he was also the World Series MVP. He racked up over 300 wins, more than 4,800 strikeouts, and bagged the Cy Young Award five times. Johnson got into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
