I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Grizzlies and the Trail Blazers.

Zach Randolph

Zach Randolph, often referred to as “Z-Bo,” was widely recognized for his scoring and rebounding prowess. He played college basketball at Michigan State University before being selected 19th overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2001 NBA Draft.

Randolph had stints with the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers but truly flourished when he joined the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009. He became a central figure in the Grizzlies’ “Grit and Grind” era alongside Marc Gasol, Tony Allen, and Mike Conley. His toughness and post-up game became hallmarks of the team’s identity.

During his time with the Grizzlies, Randolph was a two-time NBA All-Star (2010, 2013) and helped lead the Grizzlies to the Western Conference Finals in the 2012-13 season. He ranks first in Memphis Grizzlies’ franchise history for total rebounds.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim had a distinguished NBA career, predominantly with the Vancouver Grizzlies and the Atlanta Hawks. Coming out of the University of California, he was the 3rd overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Grizzlies.

During his career, Abdur-Rahim was known as a versatile forward with scoring and rebounding ability. His most productive years came with the Grizzlies and the Hawks, where he was a consistent scorer, averaging over 20 points per game multiple times. He was selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2002 when he was with the Hawks.

After his time in Atlanta, Abdur-Rahim had stints with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Sacramento Kings before retiring in 2008 due to a persistent knee injury.

Earl Watson

Watson was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft. Over the course of his playing career, he played for various NBA teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Indiana Pacers.

Though not a prolific scorer, Watson made his mark through his ability to distribute the ball, play solid defense, and provide leadership on and off the court.
