Gobert’s career has been marked by several significant accolades, including winning the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award three times. He has been named to multiple All-NBA Defensive First Teams and has led the league in blocks.

In 2022 Gobert was involved in a monster trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves that involved 4 first-round draft picks and multiple players. To his credit, Gobert produced, averaging a double-double in his first year with the team.

His tenure with the Grizzlies included several deep playoff runs, with the 2012-13 season marking the franchise’s first Western Conference Finals appearance.
