I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Magic and the Hornets.
DJ Augustin
Following an impressive sophomore year at the University of Texas, where he averaged 19.2 points and 5.8 assists, DJ Augustin was drafted 9th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Over his NBA career, Augustin has displayed strong playmaking and shooting skills, particularly his three-point shooting. For example, during the 2013-2014 season with the Chicago Bulls, he averaged 14.9 points per game and shot an impressive 41.1% from the three-point line.
A journeyman in the league, Augustin has played for multiple teams (11 in total), consistently contributing off the bench. He’s had several seasons where he averaged double-digit points and solid assists numbers, like in the 2010-2011 season where he averaged 14.4 points and 6.1 assists per game with the Bobcats.

Dwight Howard
Dwight Howard is known in the NBA for his physical dominance and rebounding ability. Drafted first overall in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, Howard quickly established himself as one of the premier centers in the league.
He has been named an All-Star eight times and has been selected to the All-NBA First Team five times. Howard has led the NBA in rebounds a remarkable five times and blocks twice. His highest achievement came in 2008 when he was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year, an honor he would win three times consecutively.
Although largely associated with the Magic, who he led to the NBA Finals in 2009, Howard has also had stints with the Lakers, Rockets, Hawks, Hornets, Wizards, and 76ers. He won his first NBA championship with the Lakers in 2020.

B.J. Armstrong
B.J. Armstrong is best known for his time with the Chicago Bulls during the team’s three-peat championship run from 1991 to 1993. Armstrong was a vital supporting player, providing consistent scoring and reliable ball-handling alongside stars Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
Selected 18th overall in the 1989 NBA Draft by the Bulls, Armstrong spent his first six seasons in Chicago, with his best year coming in the 1993-94 season when he averaged 14.8 points and was selected for the NBA All-Star game.
After leaving the Bulls, Armstrong had stints with the Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Orlando Magic before retiring in 2000.
Jason Richardson
Jason Richardson is remembered by most for his incredible athleticism, particularly his dunking ability. He was selected 5th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2001 NBA Draft.
Richardson spent the first six seasons of his career with the Warriors, where he became a fan favorite due to his high-flying dunks and scoring ability. He twice won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2002 and 2003, showcasing his athleticism on the national stage.
Richardson also had successful stints with the Bobcats, Suns, Magic, and 76ers throughout his 14-year career. His best statistical season came in 2005-2006 with the Warriors, where he averaged 23.2 points per game. He was particularly known for his three-point shooting, finishing his career with over 1600 made threes.

Luke Ridnour
Luke Ridnour was selected 14th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, after a stellar college career at the University of Oregon. During his time with the SuperSonics, Ridnour solidified his place as a steady playmaker, averaging career highs of 11.5 points and 7.0 assists during the 2005-2006 season.
After five seasons in Seattle, Ridnour moved on to the Milwaukee Bucks, where he spent four seasons before stints with the Timberwolves, Hornets, and Magic.
Throughout his 12 seasons in the NBA, Ridnour provided quality minutes as both a starter and backup point guard, known for his stability and leadership on and off the court.
