Mitchell Trubisky

Mitchell Trubisky played college football at North Carolina and was selected by the Chicago Bears with the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Trubisky served as the Bears’ starting quarterback for several seasons, and he was named to the Pro Bowl in 2018.

In that season, he led the Bears to a 12-4 record and their first NFC North title and playoff appearance since 2010. After the 2020 season, Trubisky signed with the Buffalo Bills, where he served as a backup to Josh Allen.

After one year in Buffalo, he moved to Pittsburgh in 2022 where he started in 5 games and had overall mixed results.

Over his career, he played for the Bears, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills, starting 82 games in total.

Although not renowned for eye-popping statistics, he finished his career with 18,037 passing yards and 101 touchdowns, demonstrating a dependability that led to a longer-than-average career for a non-star quarterback.

Doug Flutie is recognized for his exceptional college football career and his time in the NFL and Canadian Football League (CFL). At Boston College, Flutie won the Heisman Trophy in 1984, particularly remembered for his ‘Hail Mary’ touchdown pass in a game against Miami.

Despite concerns about his height (5’10”), Flutie had a professional career that spanned over two decades. In the NFL, he played for the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and San Diego Chargers.

His most successful years came with the Bills where he was named to the Pro Bowl. In the CFL, Flutie became a legend, winning three Grey Cups and being named the league’s Most Outstanding Player six times.
