I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Browns and Cardinals.
Colt McCoy
Colt McCoy is a seasoned NFL quarterback, having made his professional debut in 2010. Playing college football at Texas, McCoy was highly decorated and won numerous awards including the 2008 Walter Camp Award.
He started his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns, later moving to the San Francisco 49ers, Washington Football Team, and New York Giants. As of the end of the 2022 season, he has thrown for over 7900 yards with a completion percentage over 62% and has thrown for 34 touchdowns.
Despite numerous injuries, McCoy’s ability to step into the starting role when needed has proven invaluable for his teams.

Derek Anderson
Derek Anderson had an NFL career spanning over a decade. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft but didn’t make his mark until 2007 when he became the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
That year for the Browns, Anderson had a Pro Bowl season, throwing for 3787 yards and 29 touchdowns. However, he couldn’t maintain that level of performance in the subsequent seasons.
Anderson spent the majority of his career as a reliable backup, primarily for the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2017, where he occasionally stepped in for Cam Newton. He ended his NFL journey with the Buffalo Bills in 2018. Anderson passed for 10,878 yards and 60 touchdowns over his career.
Brian Hoyer
Brian Hoyer is a veteran quarterback who has primarily been a backup with multiple NFL teams. He entered the league undrafted in 2009 and signed with the New England Patriots, backing up Tom Brady and earning a Super Bowl ring with the team in Super Bowl XLIX.
Hoyer has also started for several teams, including the Cleveland Browns (his lone 3000+ Yard Passing Season was there), Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers, with career passing stats including over 10,000 yards, 53 touchdowns, and a passer rating in the mid-80s.
Eric Metcalf
Eric Metcalf was selected as the 13th overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for 13 seasons, with stints at 7 different teams including the Browns, Falcons, Chargers, Cardinals, Panthers, Redskins, and Packers.
Metcalf was primarily utilized as a return specialist and running back. His versatility and speed made him a significant threat in special teams. Over his career, he recorded almost 8,000 rushing and receiving yards, but his most remarkable achievements came as a return specialist, where he scored 12 return touchdowns.
He was named to three Pro Bowls and earned two 1st Team All-Pro selections. His ability to change games with his special teams play made him one of the most exciting players to watch during his career.

Lomas Brown
Lomas Brown was known as one of the NFL’s top offensive tackles during his career. Drafted by the Detroit Lions in the first round, 6th overall, in the 1985 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida, Brown played 11 seasons for the Lions, during which he earned Pro Bowl honors seven times and 1st Team All-Pro once.
In addition to the Lions, Brown also had stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a part of the 2002 Buccaneers team that won the Super Bowl.
Over his 18-year career, Brown was recognized not only for his athleticism but also for his leadership and intelligence on the field. His excellent footwork, combined with his size and strength, made him an effective and durable player, appearing in 263 games in total.
Josh McCown
Josh McCown, known for his resilience and adaptability, carved out a noteworthy 17-year career in the NFL – mostly as a reliable backup quarterback.
From his entry into the league with the Arizona Cardinals in 2002, he played for 9 different teams, a few times as the starting QB, but also stepping in and performing effectively whenever called upon when he wasn’t.
He threw for over 17,000 yards and 98 touchdowns, holding a career passer rating around 80. Particularly impressive stints came with the Chicago Bears in 2013 and the New York Jets in 2017.
Tramon Williams
Tramon Williams was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2006. After a brief stint with the Texans, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers later that year, where he would go on to play until the end of the 2014 season.
Williams was a part of the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV championship team. He had another stint with the Packers from 2018 to 2019. In between, he played for the Cleveland Browns (2015–2016) and the Arizona Cardinals (2017).
Williams earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2010. Known for his ball-hawking skills, Williams racked up 34 interceptions throughout his career. He was considered a key component of the Packers’ defensive backfield during their Super Bowl run, recording 3 interceptions in the postseason leading up to their championship.
