That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Buccaneers and Packers.

Hardy Nickerson

Hardy Nickerson was a linebacker who had a lengthy and successful career in the NFL. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round, 122nd overall, in the 1987 NFL Draft out of the University of California.

Nickerson played for several teams over his 16-season career in the NFL, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Green Bay Packers. He is most associated with his time in Tampa Bay, where he made multiple Pro Bowl appearances and was a key figure in the Buccaneers’ vaunted defense.

Over the course of his career, Nickerson was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and earned First-Team All-Pro honors twice. He amassed more than 1,500 tackles, 21 sacks, and 12 interceptions.

Reggie Cobb

Reggie Cobb was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round, 30th overall, of the 1990 NFL Draft. Cobb played college football at the University of Tennessee, where he had a standout career.

Cobb’s NFL career spanned several years and multiple teams. After four seasons with the Buccaneers, where he had his best season in 1992 with over 1,100 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns, Cobb moved on to play for the Green Bay Packers in 1994. He then played one season each with the Jaguars and Jets.

Although he never received Pro Bowl honors, Cobb was a dependable back who could be counted on for tough yards. He finished his NFL career with over 3,700 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns.

Evan Dietrich-Smith

Evan Dietrich-Smith was an offensive lineman who had a very respectable 9-year career in the NFL. He was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2009 after playing college football at Idaho State University.

Dietrich-Smith played for several NFL teams during his career, which included the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Philadelphia Eagles (although he didn’t receive any game reps in Philly). He is perhaps best known for his time with the Packers, where he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XLV.

While he didn’t receive any Pro Bowl or All-Pro honors, Dietrich-Smith was a versatile lineman capable of playing both the center and guard positions. He appeared in over 100 NFL games over his career, starting 53 of them.
