Football Players who Played for Chargers and Bears

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Chargers and Bears.
Jim Harbaugh
Jim Harbaugh, known for his intense competitiveness, had a successful 14-year career as an NFL quarterback, primarily with the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts.
Selected in the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the Bears, Harbaugh earned the nickname “Captain Comeback” for his ability to orchestrate late-game heroics, most notably with the Colts. His standout season came in 1995 when he led the Colts to the AFC Championship Game and finished runner-up in the NFL’s MVP voting.
He was also named to the Pro Bowl that year. Later, Harbaugh had stints with the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers before retiring from his playing career.

Jim McMahon
Jim McMahon is best remembered for his time as quarterback for the Chicago Bears during the mid-1980s, particularly for helping the team win Super Bowl XX in 1986. Known for his flamboyant personality and disregard for the NFL’s dress code, he was a key figure in the Bears’ renowned “46 Defense” era.
McMahon was drafted fifth overall by the Bears in the 1982 NFL Draft and spent seven seasons with the team, earning a Pro Bowl spot in 1985. Despite injuries throughout his career, his performance was highlighted by his ability to play at a high level in critical games.
After leaving the Bears, McMahon played for several teams, including the Chargers, Eagles, Vikings, Cardinals, and Packers. His career ended in 1996 with the Packers, earning him a second Super Bowl ring as Brett Favre’s backup.
Chase Daniel
Chase Daniel is an NFL quarterback known for his reliable presence as a backup. After a successful college career at Missouri, Daniel went undrafted in 2009 but was picked up by the New Orleans Saints.
He was part of the Super Bowl-winning team in his rookie year, although in a backup role to Drew Brees. Over his career, Daniel has also had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Los Angeles Chargers.
Having started only 5 games in his career, but with lifetime earnings topping $40 million, Daniel has become one of the most well-known backup quarterbacks in NFL history.
Doug Flutie
Doug Flutie is recognized for his exceptional college football career and his time in the NFL and Canadian Football League (CFL). At Boston College, Flutie won the Heisman Trophy in 1984, particularly remembered for his ‘Hail Mary’ touchdown pass in a game against Miami.
Despite concerns about his height (5’10”), Flutie had a professional career that spanned over two decades. In the NFL, he played for the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and San Diego Chargers.
His most successful years came with the Bills where he was named to the Pro Bowl. In the CFL, Flutie became a legend, winning three Grey Cups and being named the league’s Most Outstanding Player six times.
