Deion Sanders, often known by his nickname “Prime Time”, is one of the most remarkable two-sport athletes in American history. He played as a cornerback in the NFL for 14 seasons and also had a professional baseball career that spanned nine seasons.

In football, he had stints with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. Sanders was known for his exceptional speed and agility, and he amassed 53 interceptions, nine of which were returned for touchdowns.

He won two Super Bowls and was selected to eight Pro Bowls. He was also named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. Sanders was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Alex Smith

Alex Smith was the 1st overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the 49ers and spent his first eight seasons with them. His tenure with the 49ers was marked by multiple coaching changes and offensive schemes, but he reached his potential after Jim Harbaugh became head coach in 2011.

Smith was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, where he experienced a career resurgence under head coach Andy Reid. He led the Chiefs to multiple playoff appearances and was named to the Pro Bowl three times.

In 2018, Smith was traded to the Washington Football Team. However, his time in Washington was marked by a devastating leg injury that nearly ended his career. After a remarkable recovery, Smith returned to the field in 2020 and was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He retired following the 2020 season.
