Football Players who Played for Jaguars and Giants

There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Jaguars and Giants.

Evan Engram

Evan Engram, a tight end with great speed and catching ability, has made a mark in the NFL with the New York Giants. Drafted 23rd overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, Engram quickly became a key part of the Giants’ passing game.

In his rookie year, he had 722 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Despite dealing with injuries in subsequent seasons, Engram continued to be a reliable target, and in 2020, he was selected to his first Pro Bowl.

Engram signed a free agent deal with the Jaguars in 2022 where he continues to excel, posting 766 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns in his first year with the Jags.

Mike Glennon

Mike Glennon is a quarterback who played in the NFL from 2013 to 2022. Drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Glennon started his rookie season as the backup, but later started 13 games.

He showed promise, throwing for 2608 yards and 19 touchdowns with only 9 interceptions in his rookie season. However, Glennon found himself in backup roles in the subsequent years, with stops at the Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Over his career, he threw for over 7000 yards and 47 touchdowns.

Bob Whitfield

Bob Whitfield was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round, eighth overall, in the 1992 NFL Draft. He played as an offensive tackle and enjoyed a lengthy 15-year career in the league.

Whitfield immediately became a fixture on the Falcons’ offensive line, starting all 16 games in his second season. He would go on to start nearly every game for the Falcons over the next decade, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 1998 and helping the team reach Super Bowl XXXIII that same year.

After his time in Atlanta, Whitfield played for the New York Giants and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the course of his career, he appeared in 220 regular-season games, starting 176 of them. Whitfield’s consistent play and reliability on the offensive line made him one of the standout tackles during his time in the league.

Deon Grant

Deon Grant played as a safety for 11 seasons in the NFL. He played college football at Tennessee, and was selected in the 2nd round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

During his career, Grant played for several teams – including the Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, and New York Giants – and was a key contributor for each.

Perhaps the pinnacle of Grant’s professional career came with the New York Giants, where he won a Super Bowl championship in 2011 (Super Bowl XLVI). In that 2011 season, he contributed with 64 combined tackles, a sack, and three interceptions.
