Football Players who Played for Jaguars and Ravens

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Jaguars and the Ravens.

John Brown

John Brown was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Brown showcased his ability to stretch the field early on. His breakthrough season came in 2015 when he notched over 1000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Brown’s stint with the Cardinals was marked by consistent production but also by struggles with injuries. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens for the 2018 season, where he led the team in receiving yards, despite a mid-season quarterback change.

Brown then joined the Buffalo Bills in 2019, where he had a standout season with over 1000 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Brown then bounced around with a few teams in 2021 before landing back in Buffalo.

Carnell Lake

Carnell Lake was selected in the second round of the 1989 NFL Draft, 34th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Primarily playing as a safety but also having the versatility to play cornerback, Lake’s professional career spanned 13 seasons in the NFL.

With the Steelers, Lake was named to the Pro Bowl four times and was a First-Team All-Pro selection in 1997. He also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars (earning another Pro Bowl selection) and the Baltimore Ravens before retiring.

Lake’s career totals include 16 interceptions, 25 sacks, and over 800 tackles. Known for his intelligence and ability to read the game, Lake’s skills contributed significantly to his teams’ defensive success during his playing years.

Jason Babin

Jason Babin was selected by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, 27th overall. He was a defensive end who played for various teams over his 12-year NFL career, including stints with the Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets.

Babin’s career highlights include two Pro Bowl selections in 2010 and 2011. In the 2011 season with the Eagles, he had a remarkable year, recording 18 sacks and was named 2nd Team All-Pro. His final career stats include 374 total tackles, 64.5 sacks, and 14 forced fumbles.

Babin’s aggressive playing style and ability to pressure the quarterback made him a significant presence on the defensive line throughout his career.

Yannick Ngakoue

Yannick Ngakoue is a defensive end known for his pass-rushing skills. He was drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ngakoue had an impactful rookie season, recording eight sacks and establishing himself as a promising talent in the league.

After a strong stint with the Jaguars, where he earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2017 and recorded 37.5 sacks, Ngakoue was traded to the Minnesota Vikings in 2020. His stay in Minnesota was short-lived, and he was subsequently traded to the Baltimore Ravens during the 2020 season.

Ngakoue then signed with the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2021 season and the Colts in 2022. Over his career thus far, Ngakoue has been a disruptive force on the defensive line, amassing 65 sacks and 21 forced fumbles.
