I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Jets and the Buccaneers.

Keyshawn Johnson

Keyshawn Johnson was drafted as the 1st overall pick in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He had a very productive career that spanned 11 seasons in the NFL.

During his career, Johnson played for the Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and Carolina Panthers. His time with the Buccaneers was highlighted by a Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl XXXVII during the 2002 season.

A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Johnson finished his NFL career with over 10,000 receiving yards and 64 receiving touchdowns. His physical style of play, strong hands, and ability to make clutch catches made him one of the prominent receivers of his era.

Darrelle Revis

Darrelle Revis was selected as the 14th overall pick by the New York Jets in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played for the Jets in two different stints, first from 2007 to 2012, and then again from 2015 to 2016. He was known for his remarkable ability to shutdown premier receivers, earning him the nickname “Revis Island”.

He also took to the field for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and rounded off his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. Throughout his career, Revis earned seven Pro Bowl selections and was named to the First-Team All-Pro four times.

A standout moment in his career was helping the New England Patriots to victory in Super Bowl XLIX. Revis also led the league in pass deflections in 2009 and accumulated a total of 29 interceptions across his career. Revis was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2023.

Vinny Testaverde

Vinny Testaverde’s NFL career spanned an impressive 21 seasons, during which he showcased resilience, talent, and an ability to adapt. Selected as the first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1987, Testaverde played for seven teams, with his longest tenures at Tampa Bay and the New York Jets.

Despite a rocky start with the Buccaneers, Testaverde went on to throw for over 46,000 yards and 275 touchdowns in his career, making two Pro Bowl appearances. He led the Jets to the AFC Championship game in the 1998 season.

He holds the NFL record for throwing touchdowns to 70 different players, a testament to his lengthy career and adaptability. Testaverde retired in 2007, wrapping up one of the longest careers for a quarterback in NFL history.

Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell was a dynamic running back known for his patient running style and exceptional skills as a receiver out of the backfield. After being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2nd round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Bell had multiple standout seasons.

From 2013 to 2017, he racked up a total of 5336 rushing yards, 2660 receiving yards, and 42 touchdowns. After a contract dispute, Bell joined the New York Jets in 2019 and later played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 and Baltimore Ravens in 2021, but couldn’t replicate his earlier success.

Despite the later ups and downs in his career, Bell’s peak years in Pittsburgh rank among the most productive for a running back in recent NFL history.

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick, nicknamed “Fitzmagic,” is a well-traveled quarterback known for his intelligence and grit. He was drafted in the 7th round by the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Fitzpatrick is the first Harvard quarterback to ever start an NFL game. Over his career, he has played for several teams, including the Rams, Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans, Jets, Buccaneers, Dolphins, and the Commanders. A consummate journeyman, Fitzpatrick has shown an ability to produce solid numbers, often surpassing initial expectations.

Fitzpatrick finished his career with 34,990 passing yards and 223 touchdowns with a career QBR of 82.3.

Josh McCown

Josh McCown, known for his resilience and adaptability, carved out a noteworthy 17-year career in the NFL – mostly as a reliable backup quarterback.

From his entry into the league with the Arizona Cardinals in 2002, he played for 9 different teams, a few times as the starting QB, but also stepping in and performing effectively whenever called upon when he wasn’t.

He threw for over 17,000 yards and 98 touchdowns, holding a career passer rating of around 80. Particularly impressive stints came with the Chicago Bears in 2013 and the New York Jets in 2017.

Reggie Cobb

Reggie Cobb was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round, 30th overall, of the 1990 NFL Draft. Cobb played college football at the University of Tennessee, where he had a standout career.

Cobb’s NFL career spanned several years and multiple teams. After four seasons with the Buccaneers, where he had his best season in 1992 with over 1,100 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns, Cobb moved on to play for the Green Bay Packers in 1994. He then played one season each with the Jaguars and Jets.

Although he never received Pro Bowl honors, Cobb was a dependable back who could be counted on for tough yards. He finished his NFL career with over 3,700 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns.
