I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Jets and the Dolphins.
Chad Pennington
Chad Pennington was drafted by the Jets with the 18th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. Spending the majority of his career in New York, Pennington became known for his accuracy and intelligence on the field. He led the Jets to multiple playoff appearances and twice won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, in 2006 and 2008.
After his time with the Jets, Pennington joined the Miami Dolphins in 2008 and quickly made an impact, leading the team to an AFC East title. His career, however, was marred by multiple shoulder injuries that ultimately shortened his time in the league.
Pennington retired with a completion percentage of 66.0, which at the time was the highest in NFL history. Despite his injury struggles, Pennington’s leadership and efficiency as a passer left a lasting impression on the league.

Ryan Fitzpatrick
Ryan Fitzpatrick, nicknamed “Fitzmagic,” is a well-traveled quarterback known for his intelligence and grit. He was drafted in the 7th round by the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Fitzpatrick is the first Harvard quarterback to ever start an NFL game. Over his career, he has played for several teams, including the Rams, Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans, Jets, Buccaneers, Dolphins, and the Commanders. A consummate journeyman, Fitzpatrick has shown an ability to produce solid numbers, often surpassing initial expectations.
Fitzpatrick finished his career with 34,990 passing yards and 223 touchdowns with a career QBR of 82.3.

Brandon Marshall
Brandon Marshall played 13 seasons in the National Football League. He was known for his size, athleticism, and ability to make difficult catches in traffic. Marshall was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Marshall had several productive seasons with the Broncos before moving on to the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, New York Giants, and finally the Seattle Seahawks. He recorded eight 1,000-yard receiving seasons over his career, showcasing his consistency as a top-tier wide receiver.
Marshall was selected to the Pro Bowl six times and was an NFL All-Pro selection twice. He also set an NFL record with 21 receptions in a single game while with the Denver Broncos in 2009.

Jay Fiedler
Jay Fiedler was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1994 after playing quarterback at Dartmouth.
Fiedler is most known for his time with the Miami Dolphins, where he played from 2000 to 2004. Before joining the Dolphins, he played one season each with the Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Jacksonville Jaguars. After leaving Miami, he also played a season for the New York Jets.
While Fiedler never won any significant awards or honors, he led the Dolphins to playoff appearances in the 2000 and 2001 seasons, with his best statistical year coming in 2001 when he threw for 20 touchdowns. Overall, he threw for over 11,000 yards and 69 touchdowns in his NFL career.

Terrell Buckley
Terrell Buckley played college football at Florida State University, where he excelled as a defensive back and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was also awarded the prestigious Jim Thorpe Award in 1991, given to the top defensive back in college football.
In the 1992 NFL Draft, Buckley was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the fifth overall pick. Known for his speed and ball-hawking skills, he quickly made a name for himself in the league. Buckley spent three seasons with the Packers before joining the Miami Dolphins in 1995.
Buckley had successful stints with several teams during his 14-year NFL career, including the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. While with the Patriots in 2001, he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXVI, marking a significant high point in his professional career.
Frank Gore
Frank Gore was a running back known for his longevity, power running, and consistency in the NFL. Drafted in the third round by the San Francisco 49ers in 2005, Gore spent ten seasons with the 49ers, where he became the franchise’s all-time leading rusher.

Feely spent two seasons with the Giants before moving to the Miami Dolphins, where he played for a season. His career then took him to the New York Jets, where he enjoyed two solid seasons, followed by short stints with the Arizona Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.
Throughout his career, Feely demonstrated consistency as a kicker, converting 82.6% of his field goals and a strong leg as well, with a career-long field goal of 61 yards.
Matt Turk
Matt Turk had a lengthy and successful career as a punter in the NFL. He entered the league in 1995 and went on to play for several teams throughout his career, including the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Turk’s career achievements include being selected as a 1st-Team All-Pro in 1996 as a member of the Redskins (now the Commanders) along with 3 Pro Bowl nods. He was known for his strong leg and ability to pin opposing teams deep in their own territory.
Additionally, Matt Turk was part of the Houston Texans’ inaugural season in 2002 and played a significant role in the team’s early years. He retired from the NFL in 2012 after a career that spanned 17 seasons, making him one of the NFL’s longest-tenured punters.
