5 Football Players who Played for Jets and Giants

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Jets and the Giants.
Leonard Williams
Leonard Williams was drafted 6th overall by the New York Jets in the 2015 NFL Draft, following a stellar career at the University of Southern California.
During his tenure with the Jets, Williams was often considered one of the bright spots on the team’s defense, garnering a reputation for his ability to disrupt offensive lines and make plays in the backfield. His performances earned him a Pro Bowl selection in 2016.
In 2019, Williams was traded to the New York Giants midway through the season. Since his move across town, he’s continued his productive play. In 2020, he had a career year, recording a personal best in sacks and establishing himself as a key piece of the Giants’ defensive front.
Brandon Marshall
Brandon Marshall played 13 seasons in the National Football League. He was known for his size, athleticism, and ability to make difficult catches in traffic. Marshall was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Marshall had several productive seasons with the Broncos before moving on to the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, New York Giants, and finally the Seattle Seahawks. He recorded eight 1,000-yard receiving seasons over his career, showcasing his consistency as a top-tier wide receiver.
Marshall was selected to the Pro Bowl six times and was an NFL All-Pro selection twice. He also set an NFL record with 21 receptions in a single game while with the Denver Broncos in 2009.

Geno Smith
After an impressive collegiate career at West Virginia University, where he was a finalist for the Manning Award, Geno Smith was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Smith began his professional career as the Jets’ starting quarterback, a position he held for two seasons. In his rookie year, Smith led the Jets to an 8-8 record, but his tenure with the Jets was marked by inconsistency. He later lost the starting job and subsequently served as a backup quarterback for the team.
After bouncing around in a couple of backup roles, Smith had a career resurgence in 2022 with the Seahawks. He earned his first Pro Bowl selection, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Terrell Buckley
Terrell Buckley played college football at Florida State University, where he excelled as a defensive back and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was also awarded the prestigious Jim Thorpe Award in 1991, given to the top defensive back in college football.
In the 1992 NFL Draft, Buckley was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the fifth overall pick. Known for his speed and ball-hawking skills, he quickly made a name for himself in the league. Buckley spent three seasons with the Packers before joining the Miami Dolphins in 1995.
Buckley had successful stints with several teams during his 14-year NFL career, including the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. While with the Patriots in 2001, he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXVI, marking a significant high point in his professional career.
Jay Feely
Jay Feely had an impressive 14-year career as a placekicker in the NFL. He initially signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2001 but truly started his NFL journey with the New York Giants in 2005.
Feely spent two seasons with the Giants before moving to the Miami Dolphins, where he played for a season. His career then took him to the New York Jets, where he enjoyed two solid seasons, followed by short stints with the Arizona Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.
Throughout his career, Feely demonstrated consistency as a kicker, converting 82.6% of his field goals and a strong leg as well, with a career long field goal of 61 yards
