Football Players who Played for Raiders and Broncos

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Raiders and Broncos.

Chester McGlockton

Chester McGlockton was selected in the first round, 16th overall, by the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1992 NFL Draft. Playing as a defensive tackle, he quickly made an impact in the league.

During his career, McGlockton was named to the Pro Bowl four times (1994–1997) and earned 1st-Team All-Pro honors in 1995. Over his 12-year NFL career, he played for the Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and New York Jets. His imposing size and powerful play made him a dominant force on the defensive line.

McGlockton accumulated 51 sacks and 558 tackles in his career, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposing offenses.

Steve Beuerlein

Steve Beuerlein had a long and solid NFL career as a quarterback, spanning 17 seasons from 1987 to 2003.

He was drafted by the Raiders, and while he found success with several teams, his most impressive stint was with the Carolina Panthers from 1996 to 2000, including a Pro Bowl season in 1999 where he threw for a league-leading 4436 yards with 36 touchdowns.

Known for his resilience, Beuerlein moved around a lot during his career, playing for five different teams and amassing over 24,000 passing yards and 147 touchdowns.

Latavius Murray

Latavius Murray, a running back who kicked off his career with the Oakland Raiders in 2013, served as the team’s lead back from 2014 to 2016, even earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2015 when he rushed for 1066 yards and six touchdowns.

He joined the Minnesota Vikings in 2017, where he proved to be a reliable and efficient rusher, racking up 842 yards and eight touchdowns in his best season with the team (2018).

Since 2019, Murray has bounced around with multiple teams but is always a solid contributor no matter whose backfield he’s in.

Javon Walker

Javon Walker was selected in the 1st round, 20th overall, by the Green Bay Packers in the 2002 NFL Draft. The wide receiver made an immediate impact in Green Bay, and his breakout year came in 2004 when he earned Pro Bowl honors after recording 1,382 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

Throughout his career, Walker played for the Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and the Oakland Raiders. He amassed 4,011 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns over his NFL career.

Though plagued by injuries, including a severe knee injury in 2005 and an ACL tear in 2007, Walker’s peak years showcased his ability to be a game-changing wide receiver.
