Football Players who Played for Ravens and Packers

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Ravens and the Packers.

Za’Darius Smith

Za’Darius Smith was drafted in the 4th round, 122nd overall, by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. The outside linebacker from the University of Kentucky has made a name for himself as an elite pass rusher.

After four seasons with the Ravens, Smith signed with the Green Bay Packers in 2019, where his career truly took off. During his first season with the Packers, he recorded 13.5 sacks, earning a Pro Bowl selection.

He signed as a free agent with the Vikings in 2022 and Smith has continued his dominant play. To date, he has accumulated more than 54 career sacks and 9 forced fumbles.

Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 4th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. In his rookie season with the Bills, Watkins caught 65 passes for 982 yards and six touchdowns, showing promise as a dynamic offensive weapon.

In his second season, he managed to surpass 1,000 receiving yards, finishing with 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns on 60 receptions.

Watkins joined the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2018 season. He had a productive tenure with the Chiefs, playing a key role in their offensive unit that won Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers. His clutch performances during the playoff run were particularly noteworthy.

Tramon Williams

Tramon Williams was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2006. After a brief stint with the Texans, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers later that year, where he would go on to play until the end of the 2014 season.

Williams was a part of the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV championship team. He had another stint with the Packers from 2018 to 2019. In between, he played for the Cleveland Browns (2015–2016) and the Arizona Cardinals (2017).

Williams earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2010. Known for his ball-hawking skills, Williams racked up 34 interceptions throughout his career. He was considered a key component of the Packers’ defensive backfield during their Super Bowl run, recording 3 interceptions in the postseason leading up to their championship.
