I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Steelers and Cardinals.

Joey Porter

Joey Porter was drafted in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft, 73rd overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Playing the linebacker position, he spent a significant portion of his career with the Steelers but also played for the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals before retiring.

Porter was a four-time Pro Bowler, a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2002, and a key member of the Steelers team that won Super Bowl XL. He ended his career with 98 sacks, 25 forced fumbles, and 12 interceptions.

Known for his relentless energy and trash-talking, Porter was a fiery competitor who could impact a game with his physicality and passion. His ability to pressure the quarterback and disrupt plays made him one of the most feared defenders during his era.

James Conner

James Conner played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he showcased his talents and became one of the top running backs in the nation. His college career was marked by a battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, from which he remarkably recovered and returned to the field.

After declaring for the NFL Draft, Conner was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He quickly found success in Pittsburgh, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2018 after an impressive season in which he rushed for over 900 yards and scored 12 rushing touchdowns.

In 2021, Conner joined the Arizona Cardinals, where he continued to contribute as both a rusher and receiver out of the backfield. His performances have been characterized by his physical running style, ability to break tackles, and nose for the end zone.

Alan Faneca

Alan Faneca was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round (26th overall) of the 1998 NFL Draft. He quickly became a cornerstone of the Steelers’ offensive line.

Over a decade with the Steelers, Faneca was integral in paving the way for the team’s rushing attack and providing staunch protection for the quarterback. His efforts were pivotal in the Steelers’ Super Bowl XL victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

After a successful tenure with the Steelers, Faneca went on to play for the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals. Across his entire NFL career, he was selected to the Pro Bowl nine times and was named a First-team All-Pro on six occasions. Faneca was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
