6 Football Players who Played for Titans and Buccaneers

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Titans and Buccaneers.
Julio Jones
Julio Jones started his career with the Atlanta Falcons in 2011 after they traded up to pick him sixth overall in the draft, and he quickly became a key figure in their offense. He’s recognized for his combination of size, speed, strength, hands, and route-running abilities.
Jones had a phenomenal 2015 season, leading the NFL with 136 catches and 1871 receiving yards. As of the end of 2022, Jones has earned seven Pro Bowl selections, has been named to the First-Team All-Pro twice, and has led the NFL in receiving yards twice.
Jones also helped lead the Falcons to Super Bowl LI in the 2016 season, where they, unfortunately, fell to the New England Patriots. His career includes more than 13,000 receiving yards and he holds several Falcons franchise records.

Albert Haynesworth
Albert Haynesworth made a name for himself during seven seasons with the Tennessee Titans, earning two Pro Bowl selections and 1st Team All-Pro honors in 2007 and 2008. His performances led to a record-breaking $100 million contract with the Washington Redskins in 2009.
However, he struggled to meet expectations in Washington, facing issues like disagreements with coaches, suspension, and failure to meet conditioning requirements.
His subsequent stints with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were also disappointing, leading to his retirement after the 2011 season.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Ryan Fitzpatrick, nicknamed “Fitzmagic,” is a well-traveled quarterback known for his intelligence and grit. He was drafted in the 7th round by the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Fitzpatrick is the first Harvard quarterback to ever start an NFL game. Over his career, he has played for several teams, including the Rams, Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans, Jets, Buccaneers, Dolphins, and the Commanders. A consummate journeyman, Fitzpatrick has shown an ability to produce solid numbers, often surpassing initial expectations.
Fitzpatrick finished his career with 34,990 passing yards and 223 touchdowns with a career QBR of 82.3.

Blaine Gabbert
Blaine Gabbert was drafted in the first round, 10th overall, by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2011 NFL Draft. Gabbert’s time with the Jaguars was short-lived (and largely unsuccessful), and he was traded to the 49ers in 2014. He’s also played for the Cardinals, Buccaneers and Titans.
While Gabbert has not received any major individual awards or Pro Bowl selections, he does have the distinction of being a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV championship team, serving as the backup to Tom Brady.
Though largely seen as a journeyman backup quarterback, Gabbert has found ways to contribute when called upon and has carved out a lengthy career in that role. His career stats are modest, but he has managed to sustain a long career in the NFL, which is a feat in itself.
Chris Simms
Chris Simms had an NFL career that was marked by both promise and adversity. After a strong career as the starting quarterback for the University of Texas, Simms was selected in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He had his best season in 2005, when he led the Buccaneers to the playoffs. Unfortunately, a near-fatal injury the following season, in which he lost his spleen, severely impacted his career.
Afterward, Simms had brief stints with the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, and the New England Patriots, but never regained his pre-injury form. Today, he’s recognized as a knowledgeable football analyst.
Chris Chandler
Chris Chandler had a lengthy and diverse career as a quarterback in the NFL, playing for eight teams over 17 seasons from 1988 to 2004.
His career stats include 28,484 passing yards, 170 touchdown passes, and a completion rate of 58.1%. Chandler’s pinnacle was the 1998 season when he led the Atlanta Falcons to Super Bowl XXXIII, earning Pro Bowl honors along the way. His QB rating of 100.9 that season was a career-high.
Despite moving frequently, Chandler had a knack for stepping in and providing reliable quarterback play, a valuable asset in the league
