Football Players who Played for Titans and Jaguars

There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Titans and the Jaguars.

Blaine Gabbert

Blaine Gabbert was drafted in the first round, 10th overall, by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2011 NFL Draft. Gabbert’s time with the Jaguars was short-lived (and largely unsuccessful), and he was traded to the 49ers in 2014. He’s also played for the Cardinals, Buccaneers and Titans.

While Gabbert has not received any major individual awards or Pro Bowl selections, he does have the distinction of being a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV championship team, serving as the backup to Tom Brady.

Though largely seen as a journeyman backup quarterback, Gabbert has found ways to contribute when called upon and has carved out a lengthy career in that role. His career stats are modest, but he has managed to sustain a long career in the NFL, which is a feat in itself.

Johnathan Cyprien

Johnathan Cyprien was drafted in the second round, 33rd overall, by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2013 NFL Draft. Cyprien started his career with the Jaguars and played for the team from 2013 to 2016. Following his time with the Jaguars, he played for multiple teams, including the Titans, Eagles, Falcons, and 49ers.

Although he didn’t receive any Pro Bowl selections, Cyprien was a solid player during his career, known for his tackling and run-stopping abilities. He started 60 games during his 4 years in Jacksonville, recording over 450 tackles.

Cyprien was a bit of a journeyman after the Jaguars, playing for 4 different teams over a short span. His versatility and experience made him a valuable asset for NFL defenses, particularly against the run.

Jason Babin

Jason Babin was selected by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, 27th overall. He was a defensive end who played for various teams over his 12-year NFL career, including stints with the Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets.

Babin’s career highlights include two Pro Bowl selections in 2010 and 2011. In the 2011 season with the Eagles, he had a remarkable year, recording 18 sacks and was named 2nd Team All-Pro. His final career stats include 374 total tackles, 64.5 sacks, and 14 forced fumbles.

Babin’s aggressive playing style and ability to pressure the quarterback made him a significant presence on the defensive line throughout his career.
