Chris Chelios
Chris Chelios enjoyed an extraordinary career as a professional defenseman in the NHL from 1983 to 2010. His time in the league saw him donning jerseys for the Canadiens, Blackhawks, Red Wings, and Thrashers.
Notable in his trophy cabinet are three Stanley Cup championships, three Norris Trophies for being the league’s top defenseman, eleven All-Star Game selections, and a silver medal from the 2002 Olympic Games where he represented the United States.
Chelios set an NHL record with 26 seasons played and still performing at a high level until the age of 48. He holds the record for the most games played by a defenseman in the NHL at 1,651 and accumulated 948 points (185 goals, 763 assists) over his career. In 2013, Chelios was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Max Domi
Max Domi was selected 12th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Domi’s career in the NHL began with the Arizona Coyotes (previously Phoenix), where he quickly made a name for himself. He scored his first NHL goal and assist in his debut against the Kings in 2015 and achieved his first career NHL hat trick in 2016 against the Oilers.
Domi’s journey in the NHL has seen him play for several teams. After the Coyotes, he was traded to the Canadiens in 2018. In Montreal, he achieved a significant milestone by scoring 72 points in the 2018-19 season, the first Canadiens player to do so since 2009-10.
In 2020, Domi moved to the Columbus Blue Jackets, followed by a trade to the Carolina Hurricanes in 2022. Domi then signed with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022 and was traded to the Dallas Stars in 2023. As of July 2023, Domi joined the Toronto Maple Leafs on a one-year contract.
Todd Simpson
Todd Simpson is a Canadian player whose career spanned over a decade in the NHL. His journey in ice hockey began at Brown University and continued in Canadian junior hockey with the Tri-City Americans and Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
Simpson’s professional career started in 1994 with the Calgary Flames, where he remained until 1999. He then moved to the Florida Panthers for the 1999–2000 NHL season, followed by a trade to the Phoenix Coyotes. He then played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, where he scored a career-high four goals, and later for the Ottawa Senators.
During the 2004–05 NHL lockout, Simpson won the Danish league championship with Herning Blue Fox, and then returned to the NHL to play with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Montreal Canadiens.
Corey Perry
Corey Perry is currently serving as an alternate captain for the Chicago Blackhawks. He spent the first 14 years of his career with the Anaheim Ducks and also played for the Stars, Canadiens, and Lightning. Perry is recognized for his goal-scoring prowess and abrasive playing style, earning nicknames like “Scorey Perry” and “The Worm.”
Drafted in the first round, 28th overall, by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Perry won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007. His career trajectory continued to rise, recording 29 goals and 25 assists in 2008, improving to 72 points in 2009, and being named to his first NHL All-Star Game.
In the 2010-11 season, Perry won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s most valuable player, leading the NHL with 50 goals and finishing third in points with 98. Internationally, Perry has been equally successful, winning gold medals with Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.

Jim Dowd
Jim Dowd, an American former center, had a remarkable 17-season NHL career, playing for ten different teams. He made history by becoming the first New Jersey native to play for the New Jersey Devils, with whom he debuted in the 1991-92 season after a successful college career.
Dowd’s tenure with the Devils was highlighted by scoring the game-winning goal in Game 2 of the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals, helping them secure their first championship.
After leaving the Devils, Jim Dowd played for a series of NHL teams, including the Whalers, Canucks, Islanders, Flames, Predators, Oilers, Wild, Canadiens, Blackhawks, and Avalanche. His career was marked by various trades and signings, with significant playing time at the Oilers and nearly four seasons with the Wild.
