Pavol Demitra
Pavol Demitra’s NHL journey started when he was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the ninth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his NHL tenure, he played for various teams, including the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, Los Angeles Kings, and Vancouver Canucks.
On the international front, Demitra proudly represented Slovakia in numerous tournaments. He played in various World Championships, helping his country secure a gold medal in 2002. Additionally, he represented Slovakia in three Olympic Winter Games.
Tragically, Pavol Demitra’s life was cut short in 2011 when he, along with several teammates from the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team, perished in a plane crash in Russia. He was 36 years old.

Mike Hoffman
Mike Hoffman was selected 130th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 5th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Hoffman made his NHL debut with the Senators during the 2011-2012 season, but his true breakout came in the 2014-2015 season, where he emerged as a key offensive player.
Hoffman’s journey in the NHL saw him move from the Senators to the Florida Panthers, with a brief intermediary step involving a trade to the San Jose Sharks and then immediately to Florida in 2018.
His tenure with the Panthers continued to highlight his offensive prowess, making him a consistent scoring threat, especially on the power play. Hoffman later signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues, where he continued to demonstrate his scoring ability.
Mike Sillinger
Mike Sillinger is a player known for his journeyman career in the NHL. Over the course of his tenure in the league, Sillinger earned the unique distinction of playing for a record 12 different NHL teams, the most by any player in league history. This constant movement earned him the nickname of the “NHL’s most traded player.”
Sillinger started his NHL career after being drafted 11th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. While he showcased skill and versatility as a center, he frequently found himself on the move, transitioning between teams either through trades or free agency.
Despite the frequent relocations, Sillinger was consistently productive wherever he played. Over his 1,049 NHL games, he accumulated 548 points, proving his value as a reliable two-way forward.
Tom Barrasso
Tom Barrasso had a highly successful NHL career spanning 19 seasons. He was drafted 5th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1983 NHL Draft.
Barrasso’s NHL journey began with a sensational rookie season where he was awarded the Vezina Trophy as the league’s top goaltender and the Calder Trophy as the rookie of the year, an unprecedented achievement for an 18-year-old goaltender.
The majority of his career success came during his time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he played from 1988 to 2000. He was instrumental in the Penguins’ back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1991 & 1992. His excellent goaltending during this period helped the Penguins establish themselves as a dominant force in the NHL.

Ben Bishop
Ben Bishop is an American goaltender known for his towering presence in the net, standing at 6 feet 7 inches, making him one of the tallest goaltenders in NHL history. Bishop was drafted 85th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2005 NHL Draft.
His early career involved stints with the Blues and the Ottawa Senators, but he rose to prominence during his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he was twice a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the league’s top goaltender.
In 2017, Bishop was traded to the Dallas Stars, where he continued to be a key player, helping guide the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2020. Over his career, Bishop earned multiple selections to the NHL All-Star Game.

Wade Redden
Wade Redden is a Canadian player (and now a development coach) for the Ottawa Senators. His NHL career spanned from 1996 to 2013, playing mainly for the Senators and also for the New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, and Boston Bruins.
He represented Canada internationally, winning gold in both the World Junior Championships and the World Cup of Hockey, and was a two-time NHL All-Star. Redden was initially selected second overall by the New York Islanders in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft but was traded to the Ottawa Senators in a three-team deal.
He achieved personal bests with the Senators, including a 17-goal season in 2003-04, and played in the 2002 and 2004 NHL All-Star Games. Over his NHL career, Redden played 1,023 games, scoring 109 goals and contributing 348 assists for a total of 457 points.
