Brian Leetch

Brian Leetch was drafted 9th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Leetch spent the majority of his illustrious career with the Rangers, becoming one of the franchise’s most iconic players.

One of the most defining moments of Leetch’s career came during the 1994 Stanley Cup playoffs. He played a significant role in ending the Ranger’s 54-year championship drought. His outstanding performances throughout the postseason earned him the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the playoffs.

Over his career, he achieved numerous accolades, including two Norris Trophies as the NHL’s best defenseman and multiple All-Star Game appearances. Leetch’s contributions to the game were further recognized when he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.

Rick Nash

Jaromír Jagr was drafted 5th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Jagr swiftly made an impression. Alongside center Mario Lemieux, Jagr played a pivotal role in back-to-back Stanley Cup championships for the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. His time with Pittsburgh also included multiple scoring titles and an MVP.

Jagr’s NHL journey included playing for several teams such as the Capitals, Rangers, Flyers, Stars, Bruins, Devils, Panthers, and Flames. Across these stints, his scoring touch and on-ice intelligence never waned. Jagr finished his career ranked second in NHL all-time points (1921), behind only Wayne Gretzky.

Anson Carter

Anson Carter is a former Canadian right winger. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, 220th overall in the 10th round​​. Carter started his pro career in the 1996–97 season, initially playing for the Washington Capitals and their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates, before being traded to the Boston Bruins in 1997​​.

Carter’s 10-year career included stops at 8 different teams. After several seasons with the Bruins, he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he recorded career-highs in assists and points during his second season.

He was then traded to the New York Rangers in 2003, followed by a brief return to the Capitals and a subsequent trade to the LA Kings in 2004​​. In 2005, Carter signed with the Vancouver Canucks, leading the team in goals and earning the Canucks’ Most Exciting Player Award. He later played for the Blue Jackets and the Hurricanes​​​​.

Nick Holden

Nick Holden is a Canadian former defenseman who played 12 seasons in the NHL. He played for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Vegas Golden Knights, and Ottawa Senators. He ended his major junior hockey career by signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets​​.

Holden left the Blue Jackets in 2013 to sign with the Colorado Avalanche. After impressing at training camp, he made the Avalanche’s opening night roster for the 2013–14 season. During this season, Holden scored his first NHL goal and established himself as a key player in the Avalanche’s defense.

In 2018, Holden signed with the Vegas Golden Knights, marking his fifth NHL club. He spent most of the 2020–21 season on the Golden Knights’ “Taxi Squad.” On July 28, 2021, he was traded to the Ottawa Senators, where he played his final two seasons.

Wade Redden

Wade Redden is a Canadian player (and now a development coach) for the Ottawa Senators. His NHL career spanned from 1996 to 2013, playing mainly for the Senators and also for the New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, and Boston Bruins.

He represented Canada internationally, winning gold in both the World Junior Championships and the World Cup of Hockey, and was a two-time NHL All-Star​​. Redden was initially selected second overall by the New York Islanders in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft but was traded to the Ottawa Senators in a three-team deal.

He achieved personal bests with the Senators, including a 17-goal season in 2003-04, and played in the 2002 and 2004 NHL All-Star Games. Over his NHL career, Redden played 1,023 games, scoring 109 goals and contributing 348 assists for a total of 457 points.
