Curtis Joseph
Curtis Joseph, widely known as “Cujo”, is a former NHL goaltender whose career spanned from 1989 to 2009. Over these two decades, Joseph played for the Blues, Oilers, Maple Leafs, Red Wings, Coyotes, and Flames.
Despite never winning a Stanley Cup or a Vezina Trophy, he was widely respected for his agility, resilience, and reliability under pressure, consistently ranking among the top goaltenders in the league.
Joseph holds the record for the most wins in NHL history by a goaltender who never played for a Stanley Cup-winning team, amassing 454 victories over his career. He also played in 133 playoff games, achieving a .917 save percentage and a 2.42 goals-against average.

Max Domi
Max Domi was selected 12th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Domi’s career in the NHL began with the Arizona Coyotes (previously Phoenix), where he quickly made a name for himself. He scored his first NHL goal and assist in his debut against the Kings in 2015 and achieved his first career NHL hat trick in 2016 against the Oilers.
Domi’s journey in the NHL has seen him play for several teams. After the Coyotes, he was traded to the Canadiens in 2018. In Montreal, he achieved a significant milestone by scoring 72 points in the 2018-19 season, the first Canadiens player to do so since 2009-10.
In 2020, Domi moved to the Columbus Blue Jackets, followed by a trade to the Carolina Hurricanes in 2022. Domi then signed with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022 and was traded to the Dallas Stars in 2023. As of July 2023, Domi joined the Toronto Maple Leafs on a one-year contract.
Mathieu Schneider
Mathieu Schneider began his NHL journey after being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. He would go on to play for the Canadiens for several seasons, even being a part of their Stanley Cup-winning squad in 1993.
His NHL career spanned over two decades, during which he played for multiple teams (10 in total), including the Islanders, Maple Leafs, Rangers, Kings, Red Wings, Ducks, Thrashers, Canucks, and Coyotes.
Offensively skilled, Schneider often posted impressive point totals for a defenseman, culminating in over 700 points throughout his NHL career.
Owen Nolan
Owen Nolan was selected first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He played with the Nordiques before the franchise relocated, becoming the Colorado Avalanche.
However, Nolan is perhaps best remembered for his tenure with the San Jose Sharks, where he served as team captain and became one of the franchise’s key players during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Nolan also suited up for the Maple Leafs, Coyotes, Flames, and the Wild. Throughout his career, he registered over 400 goals and 850 points. On the international stage, Nolan represented his native Canada, and he had the honor of winning a gold medal with Team Canada in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

Olli Jokinen
Olli Jokinen began his NHL career when he was selected by the Los Angeles Kings as the 3rd overall pick in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. However, it was with the Panthers that Jokinen truly came into his own, serving as the team’s captain and becoming their all-time leading scorer during his tenure.
After Florida, Jokinen played for several other NHL teams, including the Phoenix Coyotes, Calgary Flames, New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. Throughout his career, he was known for his consistency in scoring, with multiple seasons registering over 50 points.
In addition to his NHL contributions, Jokinen had a distinguished international career representing Finland. He participated in various World Championships, World Cup of Hockey tournaments, and Olympic Games, often playing crucial roles for the Finnish national team.

Phil Kessel
Phil Kessel was selected 5th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2006 NHL Draft. Known for his offensive prowess, Kessel quickly became one of the league’s top goal-scorers. He played three seasons with the Bruins before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In 2015, Kessel was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he became a key part of the team’s success, winning back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2016 and 2017. Kessel’s speed, skill, and ability to perform in high-pressure situations were crucial to the Penguins’ playoff runs.
Kessel’s journey has made two more stops – Coyotes and Golden Knights. Everywhere he’s played, Kessel has been a consistent offensive player and is closing in on 1000 career points (992 at the time I’m writing).

Alex Galchenyuk
Alex Galchenyuk was selected 3rd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. During his NHL career, Galchenyuk has played for several teams, including the Canadiens, Coyotes, Penguins, Wild, Senators, and Maple Leafs.
To date, Galchenyuk has scored 146 goals, 208 assists, and 354 points. He’s known for his skilled play, puck-handling, and scoring ability but has struggled with consistency at times.
He has also represented the United States in international competitions, earning a gold medal at the 2013 World Junior Championships.
Luke Schenn
Luke Schenn, a Canadian defenseman, has had a solid NHL career. He began his journey with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who selected him fifth overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Schenn quickly made an impact, earning a spot on the NHL’s All-Rookie Team following his first season.
His time with the Maple Leafs lasted until 2012, when he was traded to the Flyers, giving him the unique opportunity to play alongside his younger brother, Brayden Schenn. Schenn’s career continued with several team changes including the Kings, Coyotes, Ducks, Canucks and Lightning (where he won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021).
In the 2022-23 season, Schenn became the NHL’s all-time leader in hits by a defenseman. Despite his defensive prowess, he was traded back to the Toronto Maple Leafs before the trade deadline. Following this season, as a free agent, he signed a three-year contract with the Nashville Predators in July 2023, continuing his impactful NHL career.
