I’ve already done the research and have put together a list of well-known stars along with some more “under-the-radar” players that could land you a low rarity score.

Johnny Oduya

Johnny Oduya was drafted 221st overall in the seventh round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals. A Swedish defenseman, Oduya had a 12-year NHL career, most notably with the Chicago Blackhawks.

With Chicago, he won the Stanley Cup twice, in the 2012–13 and 2014–15 seasons. Known for his skating ability and defensive skills, Oduya played a vital role in the Blackhawks’ championship teams.

Over his career, Oduya played in 850 regular-season NHL games, registering more than 40 goals and nearly 150 assists. He also represented Sweden in international competition, including winning a silver medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Vladislav Namestnikov

Vladislav Namestnikov is a Russian center currently playing for the Winnipeg Jets. He was drafted 27th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and has since played for several NHL teams, including the Lightning, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche, Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars, and now the Jets​​.

Namestnikov’s NHL career began with the Lightning in the 2014-15 season, where he scored his first NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens. He recorded his first NHL hat-trick in 2016 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Throughout his career, he has been traded several times, including to the Rangers in 2018, the Senators in 2019, the Avalanche in 2020, and the Stars in 2022. He returned to the Lightning in 2022 before being traded to the Jets in 2023​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​. His NHL career statistics include 630 games played, with 115 goals, 146 assists, and a total of 261 points​​.

Cody Eakin

Cody Eakin is a Canadian forward currently playing with the SCL Tigers of the National League. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the third round, 85th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, after being selected in the first round, sixth overall, by the Swift Current Broncos in the 2006 WHL Draft.

Eakin began his NHL career with the Capitals’ AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, in the 2011–12 season, making his NHL debut in November 2011. Eakin was traded to the Dallas Stars in 2012 and scored his first career Stanley Cup playoff goal in 2014.

In the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, he was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights. He was later traded to the Winnipeg Jets, his hometown team, in 2020, and then signed with the Buffalo Sabres as a free agent in the same year.​
