Hockey Players who Played for Kraken and Jets

My guess is you’ve searched this page out because you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

If I’m right, that also means that today’s grid is asking for players who have played for both the Seattle Kraken and the Winnipeg Jets.

And, I’m also guessing that you’re a little stuck on this particular square and you’re looking for a little help to keep your grid immaculate. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, I’m here to help.

I’ve already done the research and have put together a list of well-known stars along with some more “under-the-radar” players that could land you a low rarity score.

Brandon Tanev

Brandon Tanev, a Canadian left winger, currently plays for the Seattle Kraken. Tanev began his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets after graduating from Providence College. Tanev then joined the Pittsburgh Penguins for the 2019–20 season, playing a key role in exhausting opposing teams’ leading scorers.

Unfortunately, Tanev’s time with the Penguins was marked by injuries, missing most of the 2020–21 season but rejoining the team for their short stint in the 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs.

He was later selected by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. Tanev has been known for his energy and aggressive play style throughout his career.

Karson Kuhlman

Karson Kuhlman, an American center, currently plays for the Bridgeport Islanders in the AHL while under contract with the New York Islanders of the NHL. Kuhlman went undrafted in the NHL but signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins in 2018 after a successful college career with the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.

He made his NHL debut with the Bruins in 2019 and scored his first NHL goal shortly after. Kuhlman recorded his first Stanley Cup playoff point and goal in 2019.

Kuhlman played a limited role with the Bruins in the 2021–22 season before being claimed off waivers by the Seattle Kraken. He continued with the Kraken for the remainder of the season and part of the 2022–23 season before being claimed by the Winnipeg Jets. He was signed by the New York Islanders for the 2023–24 season.
