Mike Green

After a productive period with the Capitals, which included a historic 2008-2009 season where he scored 31 goals, a record for a defenseman in a single season, he moved to the Detroit Red Wings in 2015.

Later in his career, he had a brief stint with the Edmonton Oilers before announcing his retirement in 2020. Over his career, Green was named to two NHL First All-Star Teams and played in two NHL All-Star Games, illustrating a career marked by individual accolades and a reputation for being a high-scoring defenseman.
