Olli Jokinen
Olli Jokinen began his NHL career when he was selected by the Los Angeles Kings as the 3rd overall pick in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. However, it was with the Panthers that Jokinen truly came into his own, serving as the team’s captain and becoming their all-time leading scorer during his tenure.
After Florida, Jokinen played for several other NHL teams, including the Phoenix Coyotes, Calgary Flames, New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. Throughout his career, he was known for his consistency in scoring, with multiple seasons registering over 50 points.
In addition to his NHL contributions, Jokinen had a distinguished international career representing Finland. He participated in various World Championships, World Cup of Hockey tournaments, and Olympic Games, often playing crucial roles for the Finnish national team.

Jaromir Jagr
Jaromír Jagr was drafted 5th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Jagr swiftly made an impression. Alongside center Mario Lemieux, Jagr played a pivotal role in back-to-back Stanley Cup championships for the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. His time with Pittsburgh also included multiple scoring titles and an MVP.

Dan Boyle
Dan Boyle was never drafted but signed as a free agent by the Florida Panthers in 1998. After playing with the Panthers, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he became a key offensive defenseman. Boyle played an instrumental role in the Lightning’s Stanley Cup win in the 2003-2004 season.
In 2008, Boyle was traded to the San Jose Sharks, where he continued to excel as one of the NHL’s top offensive defensemen. He later played for the New York Rangers before retiring in 2016. Throughout his career, Boyle was known for his skating ability, puck-moving skills, and power-play acumen.
In 1,093 NHL games, he tallied 605 points, making him one of the highest-scoring defensemen of his generation. Boyle was named to two NHL All-Star Games and represented Canada in various international competitions, including winning a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Alex Kovalev
Alexei Kovalev is a retired Russian player and current coach. He played over 1,300 games in the NHL over 18 seasons for teams including the Rangers, Penguins, Canadiens, Senators, and Panthers. Kovalev was drafted 15th overall by the Rangers in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, becoming the first Russian-born player to be drafted in the first round.
Kovalev was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1998 and had two of his best NHL seasons with them, scoring 76 and 95 points. In 2003, he was traded back to the Rangers and later to the Canadiens in 2004. He later signed with the Senators in 2009 and scored his 1,000th career point in 2010.
In the NHL, he totaled 1,316 games, scoring 430 goals and 599 assists. His awards include NHL All-Star selections in 2001, 2003, and 2009, winning the NHL All-Star Game MVP in 2009, and the Molson Cup in 2008. He won a Stanley Cup with the Rangers in 1994.

Sandis Ozolins
Sandis Ozolins, born in Latvia, is a retired player and coach. Ozolins was drafted 30th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in the 1992-93 season. He quickly became known for his scoring ability, leading the league in goals by a defenseman in his sophomore year.
In the 1995-96 season, Ozolins was traded to the Colorado Avalanche, where he won the Stanley Cup. He set career highs with 68 points in the 1996-97 season and finished third in Norris Trophy voting.
Ozolins’s career included stints with the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and New York Rangers. Ozolins was a seven-time NHL All-Star and the all-time leader for goals, assists, points, and games played by a Latvian in the NHL.

Eric Staal
Eric Staal was selected 2nd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2003 NHL Draft. Over his distinguished NHL career, Staal has become known for his leadership, scoring ability, and consistency.
During his time with the Hurricanes, he won the Stanley Cup in the 2005-2006 season, leading the team in scoring during the playoffs. He was named captain of the Hurricanes in 2010.
