Patrick Marleau
Patrick Marleau was selected second overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. He would go on to spend the vast majority of his illustrious career with the Sharks, becoming the face of the franchise for nearly two decades.
With the Sharks, Marleau consistently displayed his offensive talents, ranking among the team’s top scorers season after season. In 2017, Marleau signed with the Maple Leafs, where he played for two seasons before returning to San Jose. Later in his career, he also had a brief stint with the Penguins.
A significant milestone in Marleau’s career came during the 2020-2021 season when he surpassed Gordie Howe’s record to become the NHL’s all-time leader in games played (1779). This achievement is a testament to Marleau’s longevity and commitment to the sport.

Ed Belfour
Ed Belfour, often known as “Eddie the Eagle”, is one of the best goaltenders in the history of the NHL. His career spanned from 1988 to 2007, during which he played for the Blackhawks, Stars, Maple Leafs, and Panthers.
Belfour’s achievements include a Stanley Cup championship with the Stars in 1999, two Vezina Trophies as the league’s top goaltender, and a Calder Memorial Trophy as the league’s best rookie. His steadfast performance was recognized with an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.
He ranks third for the most wins in NHL history by a goaltender, with 484 wins. Belfour also recorded 76 shutouts throughout his career. Finally, his record in the playoffs is also noteworthy, with Belfour winning 88 out of 161 games and recording 14 shutouts.

Owen Nolan
Owen Nolan was selected first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He played with the Nordiques before the franchise relocated, becoming the Colorado Avalanche.
However, Nolan is perhaps best remembered for his tenure with the San Jose Sharks, where he served as team captain and became one of the franchise’s key players during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Nolan also suited up for the Maple Leafs, Coyotes, Flames, and the Wild. Throughout his career, he registered over 400 goals and 850 points. On the international stage, Nolan represented his native Canada, and he had the honor of winning a gold medal with Team Canada in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

Vincent Damphousse
Vincent Damphousse began his NHL career with the Maple Leafs after being drafted sixth overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. In Toronto, he quickly established himself as a consistent offensive contributor. He was then traded to the Oilers, where he further developed his game and became an important part of the team’s success.
His career took another significant step forward when he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens in 1992. In his first season, Damphousse played a vital role in their 1993 Stanley Cup victory, contributing clutch performances throughout the playoffs. During his time in Montreal, he was named team captain and became a fan favorite.

Brad Boyes
Brad Boyes was drafted 24th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks during the 2003-04 season after a trade. However, it was with the Boston Bruins and then the St. Louis Blues that Boyes found his stride.
In the 2007-08 season with the Blues, Boyes had his best offensive year, scoring 43 goals and adding 22 assists. His success in St. Louis continued the following season with a career-high 72 points.
After his time with the Blues, Boyes played for several other NHL teams, including the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Florida Panthers, and Toronto Maple Leafs. He continued to be known for his shootout skills, and though his production declined in later years, he remained a valued veteran presence.
