Baseball Players who Played for Rockies and Red Sox

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Rockies and Red Sox.
Ellis Burks
Ellis Burks was an influential outfielder in Major League Baseball from 1987 to 2004. He had notable stints with the Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, and Cleveland Indians.
With a blend of power and speed, Burks hit over 350 home runs and stole more than 180 bases in his career, maintaining a solid .291 batting average. His career highlights include two All-Star selections (Red Sox, Rockies) and a Gold Glove (Red Sox), testifying to his prowess both in the field and at the plate.
In 1996, while with the Rockies, he had a standout season, hitting .344 with 40 home runs, 128 RBIs and 32 stolen bases.
Dante Bichette
Possibly best known for his mullet, Dante Bichette was a major force at the plate during his 14-year career. I will always remember Bichette in a Rockies uniform, but he also played for the (California) Angels, Red Sox, Brewers and Reds.
Bichette was part of the Rockies’ “Blake Street Bombers,” and his 1995 season was particularly epic, hitting over .340 with 40 home runs and 128 RBIs – finishing second in MVP voting.
For his career, he hit over 270 homers and drove in over 1100 RBIs. Bichette made the All-Star team four times.
Jamie Moyer
Jamie Moyer was a steady pitcher in baseball for an impressive stretch from 1986 to 2012. He made a name for himself with teams like the Mariners and Phillies, but also had stops with the Cubs, Orioles, Rangers, Rockies, Cardinals and Red Sox.
Over his career, he snagged over 260 wins, proving that you don’t need a blazing fastball to get the job done. Moyer was an All-Star once and was also a big part of the Phillies’ World Series win in 2008.
What’s really cool about him is that he pitched in the majors until he was 49, which is just amazing.
Jhoulys Chacin
Jhoulys Chacín started, and ended, his career with the Rockies – playing a combined 8 seasons with the club. Chacin also played for 6 other teams including the Braves, Brewers, Diamondbacks, Red Sox, Padres and Angels.
Chacín is known for his sinker and slider combination and finished his career with over 1100 strikeouts. His best season came in 2018 with the Milwaukee Brewers, when he won 15 games and had a 3.50 ERA with 156 strikeouts, playing a key role in the Brewers’ deep playoff run.
Bret Saberhagen
Bret Saberhagen, who had an exceptional career from 1984 to 2001, shone as a starting pitcher for the Royals, Mets, Red Sox and Rockies. Saberhagen was a dominant force on the mound, winning the Cy Young Award twice with the Royals in 1985 and 1989.
He was also instrumental in leading the Royals to a World Series championship in 1985, earning the Series MVP award. Over his career, Saberhagen accumulated 167 wins (career high of 23 in 1989), more than 1,700 strikeouts, and maintained a strong 3.34 career ERA.
His no-hitter in 1991 and three All-Star appearances further underscore his noteworthy career in the Major Leagues.
