5 Basketball Players who Played for Hornets and Pacers

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Hornets and the Pacers.
Lance Stephenson
Selected in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, Lance Stephenson spent the first four seasons of his career in Indiana. His best season came in 2013-14 when he averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, and led the NBA in triple-doubles (5).
He was a significant contributor to the Pacers teams that made back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals appearances in 2013 and 2014.
Stephenson later played for several other teams, including the Hornets, Clippers, Grizzlies, Pelicans, and Lakers. Despite bouncing around the league, his dynamic playstyle and sometimes flamboyant on-court antics have made him a memorable figure in the NBA.
Al Jefferson
Al Jefferson was drafted straight out of high school as the 15th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics. He played three seasons in Boston before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a package deal for Kevin Garnett in the 2007 offseason.
In Minnesota, he had some of his best years, averaging over 20 points per game in multiple seasons. In 2010, Jefferson was traded to the Utah Jazz, where he continued to be a reliable offensive threat.
After three seasons in Utah, he signed as a free agent with the Charlotte Hornets (known as the Charlotte Bobcats in his first season with the team) in 2013. His first season with the Hornets was a standout, with Jefferson earning All-NBA Third Team honors.

Stephen Jackson
Stephen Jackson is a former NBA small forward and shooting guard recognized for his tenacity, versatility, and ability to score. Beginning his basketball journey in the lower tiers of basketball, including stints in the CBA and overseas, Jackson’s resilience and talent eventually led him to the NBA.
Jackson’s NBA journey included time with several teams, but he is most remembered for his roles with the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors. In 2003, as a member of the Spurs, he played a pivotal role in the team’s playoff run, culminating in an NBA Championship victory over the New Jersey Nets.
Later, with the Warriors in 2007, Jackson was a key player in the famous “We Believe” team that upset the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.

DJ Augustin
Following an impressive sophomore year at the University of Texas, where he averaged 19.2 points and 5.8 assists, DJ Augustin was drafted 9th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Over his NBA career, Augustin has displayed strong playmaking and shooting skills, particularly his three-point shooting. For example, during the 2013-2014 season with the Chicago Bulls, he averaged 14.9 points per game and shot an impressive 41.1% from the three-point line.
A journeyman in the league, Augustin has played for multiple teams (11 in total), consistently contributing off the bench. He’s had several seasons where he averaged double-digit points and solid assists numbers, like in the 2010-2011 season where he averaged 14.4 points and 6.1 assists per game with the Bobcats.

Primoz Brezec
Primoz Brezec was selected 27th overall by the Pacers in the 2000 NBA Draft. He played in Indiana for a few seasons but found more significant playing time and a starting role after joining the Charlotte Bobcats in 2004. In Charlotte, Brezec showcased his ability to be a consistent contributor in the paint, both as a scorer and a rebounder.
Following his time in Charlotte, Brezec had stints with several other NBA teams, including the Pistons, Raptors, and 76ers. Outside of the NBA, Brezec also played for various European clubs.
In addition to his NBA and club achievements, Primoz Brezec had a notable international career representing Slovenia. He participated in several European Championships and was an essential part of the national team, bringing experience and leadership to the squad.
