Current Pro Men’s Golfers from Vermont (PGA 2023)

Golfers, and athletes of all sports really, take pride in where they’re from. Whether it’s the state, city or area code – you always notice players wanting to rep their home area.

The whole Ryder Cup is basically built on the principle of competing and representing where you’re from.

Fans tend to do the same thing. It’s always more fun to pull for a player when they’re from your home state (or even your hometown).

With all that in mind, we went through the World Golf Rankings and pulled the home states (or countries) of every player in the top 200 (as of 5/19/23).

28 of the 50 states in the US have at least one player representing them in that top 200.

One of those 28 states is Vermont which has a lone representative in the top 200.

Here is the golfer from Vermont in the World Golf Rankings top 200 in the spring of 2023 including what town they’re from.

About the Players

Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley has been playing on the PGA Tour since 2011. Bradley made a significant impact in his rookie year on the tour, winning the HP Byron Nelson Championship and then the major PGA Championship, making him one of the few golfers to win a major in their rookie season.

In addition to these victories, Bradley won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in 2012 and the BMW Championship in 2018. His successful career has earned him spots on multiple Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup teams, representing the United States.

Known for his intense competitive spirit, Bradley is recognized for his unique pre-shot routine and anchored putter, which he had to change when the anchoring technique was banned by the USGA and R&A in 2016.
