Football Players who Played for Broncos and Packers

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Broncos and Packers.

Terrell Buckley

Terrell Buckley played college football at Florida State University, where he excelled as a defensive back and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was also awarded the prestigious Jim Thorpe Award in 1991, given to the top defensive back in college football.

In the 1992 NFL Draft, Buckley was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the fifth overall pick. Known for his speed and ball-hawking skills, he quickly made a name for himself in the league. Buckley spent three seasons with the Packers before joining the Miami Dolphins in 1995.

Buckley had successful stints with several teams during his 14-year NFL career, including the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. While with the Patriots in 2001, he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXVI, marking a significant high point in his professional career.

Javon Walker

Javon Walker was selected in the 1st round, 20th overall, by the Green Bay Packers in the 2002 NFL Draft. The wide receiver made an immediate impact in Green Bay, and his breakout year came in 2004 when he earned Pro Bowl honors after recording 1,382 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

Throughout his career, Walker played for the Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and the Oakland Raiders. He amassed 4,011 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns over his NFL career.

Though plagued by injuries, including a severe knee injury in 2005 and an ACL tear in 2007, Walker’s peak years showcased his ability to be a game-changing wide receiver.

Vonnie Holliday

Vonnie Holliday was selected in the 1st round, 19th overall, by the Green Bay Packers in the 1998 NFL Draft. The defensive end made an immediate impact, earning All-Rookie honors.

Holliday had a 15-year career in the NFL, playing for multiple teams including the Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Washington Football Team, and the Arizona Cardinals.

Known for his pass-rushing skills, Holliday accumulated 62.5 sacks, 599 tackles, and 9 forced fumbles over his career. He also had a knack for making plays in crucial situations, often coming up with big sacks or tackles for a loss.
