And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Chargers and Buccaneers.

Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson began his NFL journey when he was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Over seven seasons with the Chargers, Jackson became one of the team’s most reliable offensive weapons, earning Pro Bowl selections in 2009 and 2011. His deep-threat capability and ability to make contested catches in crucial situations made him a vital asset for the Chargers’ offense.

In 2012, Jackson signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Continuing his high level of play, he recorded three consecutive seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards for the Buccaneers, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s top wide receivers.

James Brooks had an impressive NFL career as a running back, highlighted by his time with the Cincinnati Bengals from 1984 to 1991. Selected 24th overall in the 1981 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, Brooks was eventually traded to Cincinnati where he truly shined.

He was known for his dual-threat ability as both a runner and receiver. In his career, Brooks recorded 7962 rushing yards and 49 rushing touchdowns, along with 3621 receiving yards and 30 receiving touchdowns.

Brooks was a 4-time Pro Bowl selection and helped lead the Bengals to Super Bowl XXIII, though they, unfortunately, lost to the San Francisco 49ers.

Steve Christie was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1989. He played in the NFL as a placekicker for 15 seasons, spending time with the Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers, and New York Giants.

Christie is best known for his time with the Bills, where he played for nine seasons and became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. During his career, he made 336 out of 431 field goal attempts (78%) and 468 out of 473 extra point attempts (98.9%). His career-long field goal was 59 yards.

One of his most memorable moments came in the 1992 AFC Wild Card game, known as “The Comeback,” where he kicked the game-winning 32-yard field goal in overtime, capping the largest comeback in NFL history. Christie’s accuracy and clutch kicking helped him achieve a successful and lengthy career in the league.
