And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Colts and Buccaneers.

Dallas Clark

Dallas Clark was drafted 24th overall by the Colts in the 2003 NFL Draft. During his time with the Colts, he became one of Peyton Manning’s favorite targets, establishing himself as one of the best tight ends in the league.

Clark had a breakout season in 2009, where he recorded over 100 receptions and surpassed 1,100 receiving yards, earning him a Pro Bowl selection and a First-Team All-Pro honor.

One of the highlights of his career was being a part of the Colts team that won Super Bowl XLI, defeating the Chicago Bears. His role in the team’s powerful offense during this era helped cement his legacy in the franchise’s history.

Clark Key Stats

  • 1st Team All-Pro (Colts)
  • Pro Bowl (Colts)
  • Super Bowl Champ (Colts)
  • 1000+ Yard Receiving Season (Colts)

Josh Freeman

Josh Freeman was selected in the first round, 17th overall, by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2009 NFL Draft. Freeman primarily for the Buccaneers, but he also spent time with the Vikings, Colts, and Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.

In arguably his best season, 2010, Freeman threw for 3,451 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just six interceptions, leading the Buccaneers to a 10-6 record. Unfortunately, that success was not sustained, and inconsistency plagued his career.

Freeman finished his NFL career with 13,873 passing yards, 81 touchdowns, and 68 interceptions. While he showed promise early on, struggles with accuracy and decision-making kept him from achieving long-term success in the league.

Chris Chandler

Chris Chandler had a lengthy and diverse career as a quarterback in the NFL, playing for eight teams over 17 seasons from 1988 to 2004.

His career stats include 28,484 passing yards, 170 touchdown passes, and a completion rate of 58.1%. Chandler’s pinnacle was the 1998 season when he led the Atlanta Falcons to Super Bowl XXXIII, earning Pro Bowl honors along the way. His QB rating of 100.9 that season was a career-high.

Despite moving frequently, Chandler had a knack for stepping in and providing reliable quarterback play, a valuable asset in the league

Chandler Key Stats

  • Pro Bowl (Falcons)
  • 3000+ Passing Yard Season (Falcons)

Dan Orlovsky

Dan Orlovsky was selected by the Detroit Lions in the 5th round, 145th overall, in the 2005 NFL Draft. He played for 12 seasons in the NFL, spending time with the Lions, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Orlovsky’s career was largely spent as a backup, stepping into starting roles as needed. Perhaps his most substantial playing time came with the Lions during the 2008 season and with the Colts in 2011. In the 2008 season, he started 7 games for the Lions, throwing for 1,616 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Overall, Orlovsky’s career stats include 3,132 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. Though never a star in the league, Orlovsky was regarded as a reliable and knowledgeable player who provided depth at the quarterback position. After retiring, he transitioned into a media role, offering his insights as an analyst.
