Dan Orlovsky

Dan Orlovsky was selected by the Detroit Lions in the 5th round, 145th overall, in the 2005 NFL Draft. He played for 12 seasons in the NFL, spending time with the Lions, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Orlovsky’s career was largely spent as a backup, stepping into starting roles as needed. Perhaps his most substantial playing time came with the Lions during the 2008 season and with the Colts in 2011. In the 2008 season, he started 7 games for the Lions, throwing for 1,616 yards and 8 touchdowns.
