5 Football Players who Played for Ravens and 49ers

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Ravens and the 49ers.

Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders, often known by his nickname “Prime Time”, is one of the most remarkable two-sport athletes in American history. He played as a cornerback in the NFL for 14 seasons and also had a professional baseball career that spanned nine seasons.

In football, he had stints with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. Sanders was known for his exceptional speed and agility, and he amassed 53 interceptions, nine of which were returned for touchdowns.

He won two Super Bowls and was selected to eight Pro Bowls. He was also named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. Sanders was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Anquan Boldin

Anquan Boldin was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2nd round, 54th overall, in the 2003 NFL Draft. He played for 14 seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions. Boldin made an immediate impact as a rookie, being named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2003.

Throughout his career, Boldin earned three Pro Bowl selections (2003, 2006, 2008) and was known for his toughness, reliable hands, and ability to make contested catches. He played a pivotal role in the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers following the 2012 season.

Boldin’s career statistics include 1,076 receptions, 13,779 receiving yards, and 82 touchdown catches. His combination of physicality and precision route-running allowed him to thrive as one of the premier wide receivers of his era.

Rod Woodson

Rod Woodson had a storied 17-year career in the NFL. A highly versatile and skilled defensive back, Woodson was drafted 10th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1987 NFL Draft and spent the first 10 years of his career there, primarily as a cornerback.

He made a seamless transition to the safety position later in his career, playing for the Ravens and Raiders. Woodson earned 11 Pro Bowl selections, was a six-time first-team All-Pro, and was named to the NFL 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time Teams.

A key contributor to the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl XXXV-winning season, Woodson amassed 71 interceptions (third-most all-time) and holds the NFL record for most interceptions returned for touchdowns (12). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

Trent Dilfer

Trent Dilfer played in the NFL from 1994 to 2007, most well-known as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Baltimore Ravens. Dilfer earned a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV after the 2000 season, becoming the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl after being signed as a free agent.

Over his career, he threw for more than 20500 yards, with 113 touchdown passes and 129 interceptions.

Dilfer also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, and San Francisco 49ers, before transitioning to a broadcasting career with ESPN post-retirement.

Michael Crabtree

Michael Crabtree played collegiately at Texas Tech University, where he had a stellar career from 2006 to 2008. He won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top wide receiver in both his freshman and sophomore years.

In the 2009 NFL Draft, Crabtree was selected 10th overall by the San Francisco 49ers. During his time with the 49ers, he became a key target for the team, contributing to their success, including a Super Bowl appearance in 2012 (also had over 1100 receiving yards that year).

Crabtree signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2015 and became one of their primary receivers. He had a productive three-year stint with the Raiders, including a 1,000-yard season in 2016. After his time with the Raiders, Crabtree had brief spells with the Ravens in 2018 and the Cardinals in 2019.
