Football Players who Played for Titans and Browns

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Titans and Browns.

Charlie Whitehurst

Charlie Whitehurst, known affectionately as “Clipboard Jesus” for his long hair and backup quarterback role, spent 7 seasons in the NFL. He was originally drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.

Whitehurst had the most playing time with the Seattle Seahawks in 2010 and 2011 and with the Tennessee Titans in 2014. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns.

He finished his career with 9 starts in 25 game appearances, passing for 2463 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.

Kenny Britt

Kenny Britt had a nearly decade-long career in the league. Britt, a first-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, was selected 30th overall by the Tennessee Titans. Known for his athleticism and playmaking abilities, he provided a deep threat for the Titans’ passing game.

During his five-year stint with the Titans, Britt had 2450 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. He had a breakout season in 2010 when he amassed 775 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns, making him one of the top wide receivers in the league that year.

Britt’s career also included stints with the Rams, the Browns, and the Patriots. His most productive season after leaving the Titans came in 2016 with the Rams when he recorded his first 1,000-yard season, finishing with 1,002 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns.

Austin Hooper

Austin Hooper is a tight end who has played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans. Drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Falcons, Hooper quickly developed into a reliable target for quarterback Matt Ryan.

His best season came in 2019 when he caught 75 passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns, earning his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection with the Falcons.

So far in his 7 years in the league, Hooper has accumulated 339 receptions and 25 touchdowns.
