Jarome Iginla
Jarome Iginla was selected 11th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft but was traded to the Calgary Flames, where he spent the majority of his career and became a franchise icon. Over his 20-year career in the NHL, Iginla also played for the Penguins, Bruins, Avalanche, and Kings.
He served as captain for the Flames and became the franchise’s all-time leader in goals, points, and games played. Iginla was a two-time winner of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the league’s top goal-scorer and also won the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading point scorer in the 2001-2002 season.
He was a six-time All-Star and earned two Olympic Gold Medals representing Canada in 2002 and 2010. In total, Iginla tallied 625 goals and 675 assists for 1,300 points. He retired in 2018 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2020.

Owen Nolan
Owen Nolan was selected first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He played with the Nordiques before the franchise relocated, becoming the Colorado Avalanche.
However, Nolan is perhaps best remembered for his tenure with the San Jose Sharks, where he served as team captain and became one of the franchise’s key players during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Nolan also suited up for the Maple Leafs, Coyotes, Flames, and the Wild. Throughout his career, he registered over 400 goals and 850 points. On the international stage, Nolan represented his native Canada, and he had the honor of winning a gold medal with Team Canada in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

Nazem Kadri
Nazem Kadri was drafted 7th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2009 NHL Draft. During his time in Toronto, he developed into a reliable scorer and a physical player, not afraid to play a hard-nosed style of hockey.
In 2019, he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche, where he continued to demonstrate his offensive abilities and physical play.
Kadri has been a critical part of the Avalanche’s forward group, contributing to their success with his scoring ability and experience, proving to be a crucial player in their playoff runs, including a Stanley Cup championship in 2022.

Theo Fleury
Theo Fleury was a Canadian player, known for his tenacity and scoring prowess despite his smaller stature. He was selected 166th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 1987 NHL Draft.
With the Flames, Fleury quickly established himself as a dynamic player, helping lead the team to a Stanley Cup victory in 1989. His fiery playstyle and ability to produce offensively made him a fan favorite in Calgary, where he spent the majority of his career.

Jim Dowd
Jim Dowd, an American former center, had a remarkable 17-season NHL career, playing for ten different teams. He made history by becoming the first New Jersey native to play for the New Jersey Devils, with whom he debuted in the 1991-92 season after a successful college career.
Dowd’s tenure with the Devils was highlighted by scoring the game-winning goal in Game 2 of the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals, helping them secure their first championship.
After leaving the Devils, Jim Dowd played for a series of NHL teams, including the Whalers, Canucks, Islanders, Flames, Predators, Oilers, Wild, Canadiens, Blackhawks, and Avalanche. His career was marked by various trades and signings, with significant playing time at the Oilers and nearly four seasons with the Wild.
Blake Comeau
Blake Comeau is a Canadian right winger, currently an unrestricted free agent in the NHL. Selected 47th overall by the New York Islanders in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Comeau played five seasons with the Islanders.
Comeau’s NHL journey saw him moving to various teams. In July 2015, Comeau signed a three-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche, where he became a vital part of their penalty-killing unit. During his time with the Avalanche, he achieved a career-best of 24 assists for 36 points in 81 games.
Comeau later joined the Dallas Stars on a three-year, $7.2 million contract in July 2018. He was made an alternate captain in February 2020 and re-signed with the Stars for the 2021-22 season.
