Wayne Gretzky
Wayne Gretzky, often referred to as “The Great One,” is celebrated as possibly the greatest ice hockey player ever. Gretzky played 20 seasons in the NHL from 1979 to 1999 for four teams. He is the leading goal scorer, assist producer, and point scorer in NHL history, with more career assists than any other player has total points.
Remarkably, he is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in a season, a milestone he reached four times. He tallied over 100 points in 15 professional seasons, 13 of them consecutive. At his retirement, he held 61 NHL records: 40 regular season, 15 playoff, and 6 All-Star records.
When the Oilers joined the NHL, he led the team to four Stanley Cup championships and was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 1988. This trade is credited with popularizing hockey in California. Gretzky also played for the St. Louis Blues and finished his career with the New York Rangers.
His accolades include nine Hart Trophies as the most valuable player, 10 Art Ross Trophies for most points in a season, two Conn Smythe Trophies as playoff MVP, and five Lester B. Pearson Awards. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame immediately after retiring, with the NHL retiring his jersey number 99 league-wide.

Olli Jokinen
Olli Jokinen began his NHL career when he was selected by the Los Angeles Kings as the 3rd overall pick in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. However, it was with the Panthers that Jokinen truly came into his own, serving as the team’s captain and becoming their all-time leading scorer during his tenure.
After Florida, Jokinen played for several other NHL teams, including the Phoenix Coyotes, Calgary Flames, New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. Throughout his career, he was known for his consistency in scoring, with multiple seasons registering over 50 points.
In addition to his NHL contributions, Jokinen had a distinguished international career representing Finland. He participated in various World Championships, World Cup of Hockey tournaments, and Olympic Games, often playing crucial roles for the Finnish national team.

Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson was selected 3rd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2005 NHL Draft. He later made his NHL debut with the Los Angeles Kings during the 2006-2007 season. Anson Carter
Anson Carter is a former Canadian right winger. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, 220th overall in the 10th round. Carter started his pro career in the 1996–97 season, initially playing for the Washington Capitals and their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates, before being traded to the Boston Bruins in 1997.
Carter’s 10-year career included stops at 8 different teams. After several seasons with the Bruins, he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he recorded career-highs in assists and points during his second season.
He was then traded to the New York Rangers in 2003, followed by a brief return to the Capitals and a subsequent trade to the LA Kings in 2004. In 2005, Carter signed with the Vancouver Canucks, leading the team in goals and earning the Canucks’ Most Exciting Player Award. He later played for the Blue Jackets and the Hurricanes.
