Hockey Players who Played for Kraken and Rangers
My guess is you’ve searched this page out because you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.
If I’m right, that also means that today’s grid is asking for players* who have played for both the Seattle Kraken and the New York Rangers.
*Normally it is indeed – players – but at the time we are writing this the list of “players” that have played for both teams is a list of one.
And, I’m also guessing that you’re a little stuck on this particular square and you’re looking for a little help to keep your grid immaculate. Sound about right so far?
Well, good news, we’re here to help.
I’ve already done the research and have put together “a list” of the player who has played for both the Kraken and the Rangers.
Colin Blackwell
Colin Blackwell is an American center currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. He was selected 194th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play for Harvard University in the ECAC. His college career was impacted by a concussion, but he returned to help Harvard win the ECAC Tournament Championship in his senior year.
Blackwell’s professional career started in the 2016-17 season with the San Jose Barracuda in the AHL. He then joined the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, and eventually signed his first NHL contract with the Nashville Predators in 2018. Blackwell made his NHL debut in 2019 with the Predators.
He later signed with the New York Rangers in 2020 and had a breakout season in 2020-21, scoring 12 goals and 22 points in 47 games. In 2021, he was selected by the Seattle Kraken in the NHL Expansion Draft and traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2022. He then signed with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022.
