As a young catcher growing up, I remember seeing Benito Santiago throwing players out from his knees and thought it was the coolest thing ever and something I remember imitating in Little League games.
But, that’s not what matters here. What matters is that 5 time All-Star Benito Santiago played for 9 different teams throughout this 20 year career which makes him an absolute force on the Immaculate Grid.
Santiago played for Padres, Giants, Reds, (Florida) Marlins, Blue Jays, Royals, Pirates, Phillies and Cubs.
Jose Reyes
Jose Reyes, known for his speed and ability at the plate, was one of the most exciting players in Major League Baseball during his prime. Reyes started his career with the New York Mets in 2003, where he developed into a star, leading the National League in stolen bases three times and in triples four times.
A four-time All-Star with the Mets, Reyes won the NL batting title in 2011 with an impressive .337 average. He later had stints with the Miami Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, and a brief return to the Mets, before retiring after the 2018 season.
Over his 16-year career, Reyes stole 517 bases, notched 2138 hits, and achieved a career batting average of .283.

Mark Buehrle
Mark Buehrle, who pitched from 2000 to 2015, is best known for his time with the Chicago White Sox.
Over his 16-season career, Buehrle won 214 games, posted a 3.81 ERA, and struck out over 1800 batters. He was named an All-Star five times (White Sox, Blue Jays) and won four Gold Glove awards (White Sox, Marlins), demonstrating his defensive skills as a pitcher.
Buehrle played a key role in the White Sox’s 2005 World Series championship and famously pitched a perfect game in 2009.
