I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Giants and Vikings.

Fran Tarkenton

Fran Tarkenton was drafted in the third round of the 1961 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. His NFL career spanned from 1961 to 1978, primarily with the Minnesota Vikings.

Tarkenton was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and was named First-Team All-Pro once. When he retired, he held numerous NFL records, including most career touchdown passes, passing yards, and completions, although these records have since been broken.

He led the Vikings to three Super Bowl appearances, although they did not win any. In 1976, Tarkenton was named the NFL MVP. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986. Overall, his impact on the game was immense, particularly in his ability to scramble and extend plays, a style that influenced future generations of quarterbacks.

Kyle Rudolph

Kyle Rudolph was drafted in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Vikings from 2011 to 2020 before joining the New York Giants in 2021 and the Buccaneers in 2022.

Rudolph is a two-time Pro Bowl selection (2012, 2017) with the Vikings. He has over 4,500 receiving yards and more than 50 receiving touchdowns in his career. He has been a reliable red-zone target throughout his career, making crucial catches in tight spaces.

Although he hasn’t won a Super Bowl (yet), Rudolph has appeared in multiple playoff games, where he has often been a key performer, including a game-winning touchdown catch in overtime against the New Orleans Saints in the 2019-2020 playoffs.

Linval Joseph

Linval Joseph was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He has also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles in his NFL career.

Joseph is a two-time Pro Bowl selection, earning the honors in 2016 and 2017 (both with the Vikings). He has recorded over 600 total tackles, more than 25 sacks, and has 8 forced fumbles to his name.

Joseph was part of the New York Giants team that won Super Bowl XLVI, beating the New England Patriots. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as one of the more dominant interior defensive linemen in the league.

Fred Robbins

Fred Robbins was drafted in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He also played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams during his career, which spanned from 2000 to 2011.

Robbins recorded over 350 tackles and 35.5 sacks in his NFL career. He was an important part of the New York Giants’ defense that won Super Bowl XLII against the New England Patriots, in a game that featured one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history.

Though he never received Pro Bowl honors, Robbins was a consistent interior presence during his time in the league, known for his run-stopping abilities and leadership on the field.

Morten Anderson

Morten Andersen is one of the most successful kickers in NFL history. Born in Denmark, he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 4th round of the 1982 NFL Draft. Andersen played for several teams over his illustrious 25-year career, including the Saints, Falcons, Giants, Chiefs, and Vikings.

Among Andersen’s career highlights are his seven Pro Bowl selections and three First-team All-Pro honors. He is the NFL’s all-time leader in games played with 382 and was the all-time leading scorer until Adam Vinatieri surpassed him.

Andersen scored more than 2,500 points during his career and successfully converted 565 of his 709 field goal attempts. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017, becoming just the second exclusive kicker at the time to be honored with this accolade.
